I first tried Dutch Bro's out in Colorado and had never experienced anything like it! They nammed to there loud music, danced, made jokes & were so up beat! I was so excited to hear they were coming to Lee's Summit. Sadly I didn't have the same experience here. Could have just been an off day? I went because my brother in law told me about the birthday drink he said if you show them your I'd they will give you a free one! So of course I went. I asked the lady when I pulled up about the birthday drink and she said yea totally! So I asked her what size does it need to be? She said any. I got a large, and my husband bought himself a drink. She didn't ask for my ID so I asked her if she wanted to see it to verify she said cool. I pay and pull up to a parking spot to get situated cause we got pup cups which were free I verified with her. I ended up checking the charge and noticed I was charged for the birthday drink :( With all the verifying and back and forth communication I really don't get how this got messed up. It was around 5pm and I was the only one in line. I really enjoyed the Colorado experience and I hope that atmosphere can makes it's way...
Read moreWhat a horrible horrible design. 2 lanes but only 1 guy. There is clearly 1 lane that there is a line formed in but then any random can just jump in the second lane and cut everyone that's been waiting in line. If your gonna have people using 2 lanes there needs to be 2 people pushing orders because theres absolutely zero signs stating if this lines long use the second lane. What a horrible design with no explanation of how it functions. I've had this issue at this store and the independence location. And people just cutting in front like that is extremely frustrating. And then the guy running the lanes says to just calm down it's coffee. No it's my time involved when others just get to slide around and cut into the line had there been signs stating that's what you do surely there wouldn't be 10 other cars in the same lane as me as some dumb customer just gets to cut in the line I told the guy taking orders I will never be back and getting a 1 star on Google he had the nerve to say I don't care about that doesn't bother me any. So employees like him will run this business straight into the ground. I will never ever return to this horrible...
Read moreI'm so upset to write this, but it needs to be said. I usually love Dutch bros. It was my favorite out west, but here? Awful. The staff is HOSTILE. They were all rude and mean. I didn't receive my points, so when I drove up to the window, I tried to ask them and they responded very angrily. I wish I hadn't said anything at all. 🥲 There was one young man in there who didn't seem in quite as sour of a mood and he was helpful to the others I think. When I was handed my drink, it was made incorrectly. When I asked for the missing cream, (I didn't mind the other mistake) the girl inside looked at me and yelled at me the order that she made, which was incorrect. When I gave my receipt, instead of remaking the drink, they just dumped in some milk and gave it back. I didn't want to be yelled at again, so I said thank you and apologized for asking for the correction. They didn't say anything else or look at me. I left and cried. Idk if they're all mad at each other or they got bad news or something, but it was not the Dutch Bros experience that they (were) known for. I wish I hadn't gone...
