Fat bee cafe — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

10/10 Atmosphere, service, food, and drink! We came in for coffee and ended up having a little breakfast date.

A good drink spot should always have a knock-out signature drink and theirs did not disappoint. It was a perfect balance of creamy, salty/sweet, and coffee flavor.

I’ve never had a croffle before! Yum! My husband loves cinnamon, so he chose the cinnamon sugar croffle. He ate every last bite and he doesn’t even like bananas! He says “I like THESE bananas.” 😂

I was also really impressed with the plate presentation. My berries and cream croffle looked like a work of art and no pics were taken because I was eager to dig in.

The menu was simple and I really appreciated that; the food and drink choices were unique and I feel like too many would have been overwhelming.

We will definitely be returning for more...

I've been to every boba place in the KC area. I was so excited when I found out they finally opened a boba store in Lees Summit where I live. (I usually go to Kung Fu Tea, which i LOVE once a month when I'm in KS for doctors appointments). I stopped by Fat Bee Cafe today on my way to work. I purchased a Creme Brulee Boba Latte and I was not really impressed. The boba was a great consistency however barely sweet and tasted kinda bland. The coffee wasn't that sweet either, which I know you can adjust the sweetness of the drink. I guess I am used to boba that is soaked in brown sugar longer. I will probably go back to try one of the teas with popping boba, but not the brown sugar boba again. Oh and $8 for a small boba tea is kinda high compared to...

Not sure why everytime I decided to go back and give Fatbee a chance to make my drinks right, ends up another disappointment. I always get Tropical vibe and a few other drinks. However, this time my Tropical vibe which "SHOULD" include crystal boba like the menu stated...ends up with NOTHING. Such a HUGE disappointment. Not sure why anytime I go to a different Fatbee franchise ends up having my drinks being done wrong! Staff needs to pay more attention to what the recipe of the drinks include NOT what they like to put or not put in customers drinks. Better training needed for better quality. No more hopes, I rather go somewhere else who focuses on making things...
