Five Guys — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Absolutely a nightmare!!!! This was my first time going to Five Guys and up to this point I had heard nothing but good things....this was definitely not my experience. Was asked to stop in and pick up 2 burgers, 2 fries and a drink. After ordering I looked into the dining area as i went to fill my drink an lo and behold, a giant pool of water running from the soda machines to the middle of the dining room...not a puddle, about a 5 foot by 12 foot pool...out of order sign for broken soda machine laying in the water, just not right at all. I look around at that point and realize i only see 1 table out of all the groups in there actually eating food...was informed by one couple who sat at a table with feet almost taken over by the water that they had been waiting 40 minutes for their food. I watched a employee come out into the dining room thinking he's going to mop up the water...no...he sweeps peanut shells!!! SERIOUSLY!! He's sweeping shells with a flood in the room...so finally after 47 MINUTES!!! ON A MONDAY!!! in a flooded dining room. I get my 2 whole burgers, 2 fries, and a drink....in at 7:10 on my receipt, out at 7:57 on Monday Oct. 29 2018....I will never go back and have pictures for word of mouth as I would not want others to have the...

Both times i picked up food here as a delivery driver for postmates, and they told me to wait at the pickup window. Ten minutes in and i ask where's the order, only for them to discover that for some reason (only postmates) orders aren't coming thru their system. So then i have to wait at least another ten minutes for them to make the food. Today when i showed up, i told BOTH the cashiers "please make sure the order is actually there, because your system has issues with postmates." They said "its fine, go wait at the window." 10 minutes later I walked up to the manager and said "is there a problem again today with postmates orders?" Sure enough the order wasn't there so they had me waiting at the window for an order that wasn't even being made. I was very angry that I had told not just ONE, but TWO cashiers to double check 1st if the order was there, and they didn't! I was clearly upset with the manager and expressed that this isn't acceptable at all. When the food was finally ready, THE MANAGER THREW THE BAGS AT ME. THREW. THE. BAGS. AT. ME. I'm absolutely mortified by their disgusting...

Phoned in an order for a 7:09 pickup..........Wow how times flies when your in a hurry. Wonderfull greet by cashier and she swiftly anounced my arrival to the team. Cook, who appears to be the leader, acknowledged and made me think that this was the right choice for my quick solution dinner in a time crunch. GREAT BLUFF! After I sat there for 20 minutes and watched folks pick up orders 10 minutes after they ordered I asked the cashier about my order. The fry guy grabs one of three bags I watched him set on the hood of the fry warmer 10 minutes earlier. The leader catches what is going on and apologizes, asked if I would like a "free drink or shake". WOW! WOW! If I wanted a drink or shake I would have ORDERED it! Unbelievable, the value he put on my time. Yes our burger's were cold, hey the fry's were hot though. Really stinks that the service sucks the organization has good food and thier process seems simple. Lesson is if you got time to kill, good place to eat. IF YOU'RE IN A HURRY AND THINK PHONING AN ORDER IN WILL HELP YOU WITH THE TIME CRUNCH.........DON'T BOTHER......YOU ARE WASTING...
