We ordered chocolate milk for the kids. When I arrived for the pickup order, the chocolate milk was sitting out in the counter. And the milk jug was sitting out on the counter in the open on the counter in the back. They were out of Sierra mist and root beer so I ordered another chocolate milk. They used the milk jug that was sitting out and still didn't put it away. They used this mixing thingy to mix it up. Before she used it she picked up a metal cup and ran it in that, presumably to rinse it... But how old was the water in the metal cup? Why don't they dump it after each use? I went out to my car to check my order and realized that they hadn't given me the whole thing. So I went back in and she gave me the second bag and the milk was still sitting out on the counter. I don't know if maybe there is some sort of cooling pad it supposed to sit on or something but it doesn't seem like a very reliable way to keep milk cold even if that is the case. I wasn't sure how safe the milk was to drink so we just left the drinks behind. The rest of the order was pretty cold. I was pretty close to the app's estimated time. The order was accurate though and we got a seriously ridiculous number of bag fries!... But they were stone cold. We will probably just have hubby grab Freddie's from Leawood on his way home from work in the future. This location wasn't impressive. It was pretty slow too. Usually there is quite a crowd when we go to Freddy's. I was wondering why everyone was so excited about whattaburger coming here when there's a Freddy's. But now I'm not as surprised. We may have to give whattaburger a try...
Read moreIt pains me to write this because I love Freddy's. I went here yesterday, and it was when the chiefs were playing, so I knew it wasn't gonna be busy. I went up and placed my order, I got my custard fast, but for some reason, it took 20 minutes for my food to get done. The drive-through had cars but not enough to be slammed, and I was the only one who ordered food on the inside. I never saw anyone else come in after me, and there were other families, but they already had their food. I went up to the custard area and asked about my food, which idk why I didn't go to the area where you pick it up. So one of the girls went and grabbed my food and said maybe she called it and you didn't hear it, but trust me, it wasn't that loud in there, and mine was the only inside order. I mean, maybe she did, and I wasn't paying attention. I think what did happen was that the girl passing out the orders must have assumed it was a drive through order and didn't realize that, but I guess the person never told them that and my food probably sat there for a few good minutes. Also good thing I checked the bag because they didn't put my fries in there either. Also, the girl that was handing out the food never seems to be in a good mood. Idk what her name is, but she's one of the hot liners and has short hair. Overall it was an...
Read moreThe food was great, but avoid here if you care anything about covid restrictions. All of the tables that said "do not sit here" due to capacity limits, were full. In addition, this caused people to be close to each other.
We told the manager at one point, but she just said thanks and continued on. We also told her that the cooks mask were not on properly and nearly to their chins, which she also ignored.
They did at least have someone walking around cleaning tables as customers left, but they looked the other way when people were sitting where they shouldn't.
I completely understand not wanting to argue with customers, but, they could also do more to block off those tables: tape them off where people can't get in, remove the tables, have a designated employee to seat people.
Not very high expectations when the managers are all high schoolers, but there should at least be a regional or district manager checking in on compliance.
We visited 11/27 (a Friday evening), so it was really busy. Not an excuse to ignore guidelines. Either follow the rules and enforce or remove the signs that pretend you care about...
