Have ate here many many times, the food and service has been good. However, after dealing with the management at the lees summit restaurant my rating dropped to a 1 . Management needs training on professionalism. Pathetic how the manager treats customers with such a lack of respect. Ordered bacon crispy and it was served limp,, no big deal, it happens. If something comes out wrong, just say sorry and make it right. But not the manager here. The manager here turns it into a huge deal, no apology, and refused to fix the problem. The waitress was fantastic, and I emailed the owner and she apologized for her manager. Thank you for your response Ginger. But after being long time customers here we won't return and will let all our friends and family know how your manager treats people. I can't recommend your restaurant to anyone, simply because the manager acts so horrific. I'm sure the owner does not train this behavior, but it is apparent with the poor management here, you will continue to lose customers until this manager learns how to treat people or is replaced with someone that treats...
Read moreMy family has made Ginger Sue’s an almost every weekend tradition for the past year or so. I have felt their food was so good that I even bought my grandma a gift card there for Christmas. I always recommend Ginger Sue’s in the community groups...that it’s “well worth the drive from Blue Springs”. However, after my experience last weekend AND today, I won’t be back. Last weekend, they forgot several items and gave me scrambled eggs instead of over medium. I called to tell them and they refunded the couple of dollars, without so much as an apology. It took SIX times calling them before they answered and by then, he was already pulling in to the restaurant. So, he had to wait 30 minutes for the food to be remade. Again, not even an apology. Is this how you treat customers? I’m sure losing our weekend business won’t hurt your profits, however I will be telling everyone that will listen to not patronize your...
Read moreGinger Sues is known as one of the top spots to visit for breakfast, brunch, or lunch (whichever you prefer) in Lee's Summit. You can also find Ginger Sue's at a few other spots located in the Greater KC area! From fluffy pancakes, to steamy lattes (including seasonal flavors), to mouthwatering peppered bacon, and more...you cannot go wrong with any option ordered at Ginger Sue's. The scramble bowls are packed with fresh ingredients that will have you leaving the restaurant stuffed. I ordered the Gravy Scramble, which has tasty potatoes and three scrambled eggs stacked with sausage, ham, mushrooms, and cheddar-jack cheese topped with peppered sausage gravy...YUM! We also ordered the super stuffed breakfast burrito that is served with a side of breakfast potatoes. To finish the meal, we shared a blueberry pancake with syrup. This spot is absolutely delicious and worth the wait (if you have one).Add this breakfast spot to your KC...
