My husband and I met with a friend to have a nice outing for smoothies one recent Sunday afternoon. I had him order me an item that was not on the menu, blueberry, banana, and cinnamon. He ordered himself a smoothie and a breakfast burrito. When the barista brought us our items he looked at me and said, "Oh, this is for you. I've never had anyone ask for cinnamon in their smoothie. There was a little leftover so I decided to taste it and I've got to say, it's not all that good." I asked him, "What did you bring me?" He said, "Our wild berry blend with blackberry, blueberry and banana and cinnamon." I assured him that was okay. Then he asked me, "Is this something you've had before?" I said, "YES" and he said if I didn't like it that he would make me something else. He left and I enjoyed my smoothie with my party. A bit later he came out and asked how I liked my smoothie and I told him, "It's delicious." He said, "Oh okay. Well we all have our tastes." Then he left. I say this to say that his blunt and forward opinion of my smoothie order was unwarranted and very judgmental. In other words, I did not ask for him to voice his opinion of my request. He chose to spew his displeasure and displayed his frustration unto me for ordering an item that was not on the menu. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the patio up until the barista chose violence. I will not be coming back to this establishment. I do not remember his name but he wore glasses, had a messy hairstyle, and has a mole...
Read moreThis place is pretty wonderful! If you want to support a local coffee shop and Bistro this is the place to go. My wife and I frequent this place pretty often when we can. When ypu arrive there their menu is vast so take the time to really look at the menu! My wife ordered a gluten free cinnamon roll (you read that right. GLUTEN FREE)! In fact they have a whole wide selection of gluten-free pastries. You can also order their menu items (Breakfast which they serve all day and a lunch section as well) to your specifics which is good with those who have allergies! The ambiance is really good in the coffee shop and the workers there are very nice and accommodating. In fact the cashier there spent 10 minutes explaining to my wife who has a lot of restrictions the different options, which was really nice! I had ordered the philly cheesesteak on a chibatta bun (which was amazing)! I cannot recall the drink we ordered but it was chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and I believe coconut, which was really good. Again they have a lot of options (regular milk, soy milk, coconut milk) that you can sub for 75 cents. Again this place is a great place to bring friends to hang out with, to do study groups there, or for a small date night (note: some of the tables there you cannot use because of the virus but there still have tables available, and you can sit outside as well. Again I...

I never remember to take photographs in this place because it's so nice to just relax here enjoy the calm atmosphere and chat with family or friends which is usually why I come to this place is to visit with family and friends and not have to think about giving a review. Because I know I'm going to enjoy coming here I know my family or friends that come here with me are going to enjoy this place. It's across from Long View Community College, near several other little types of shops and a couple of other original restaurants. There's a bank, CVS, gas station, McDonald's, and a B & B movie theater. This shop is a great place to stop relax and enjoy yourself for a...
