I used the mobile app at 7:35pm to place an order for delivery. At 8:03pm, the app updated saying my order was out for delivery. I waited until 8:31pm to call the store to ask about my order since I live less than 10 minutes away. The lady that answered the phone did not ask me any information about my order, the address or anything, but said it was on the way and then she hung up. At 8:51pm, the mobile app updated saying my order had been delivered. I called the store back to ask about my order and the lady that answered the phone was very unpleasant. She stated her name was Maggie and that she was the store manager. She made several statements that my order had been delivered although I told her if it was delivered it was not delivered to my house, since my son and my cameras did not see anybody approach my house. She repeatedly said it was delivered and her driver had made it back to the store already. After going back and forth about this she then offered to redo my order but stated it would be over an hour before it could be delivered. I've already waited almost an hour and a half for 4 sandwiches, a couple bags of chips, and 1 drink. I wasn't gone to wait another hour, especially since the store closed in about 5 minutes and I didn't believe her. I demanded a refund and the name and contact information for the general manager. She stated that she would void my order but refused to give me the general managers name. At this point, I was done talking to her and handed the phone to my wife. I had to call the other store in order to get the name of the general manager. While, I was on the phone with the other store, Maggie told my wife that her driver was still out making deliveries. So was he back or was he still out? Between the extended wait time and the rude and untrustworthy customer service I wouldn't suggest anybody waste the time and energy with the store on...
Read moreI normally love Jimmy John's. Tonight I ordered a sandwich through Uber Eats as the Jimmy John site was not accepting orders. I, shortly after, received what appeared to be a spam call from Hinz Hospitality. Because I didn't know the number or 'business name' I didn't answer. NO message was left. After getting updates from Uber eats that my food was ready and should be arriving soon I wait 45 minutes before calling the store to find out from the worker that there is no driver. Whether that is a Jimmy John's driver or Uber driver a 10 second message would have been helpful. When we finally went to pick it up, we were blamed for not answering this unknown caller and were given a lot of attitude by the workers. I understand everyone is shorthanded and I really do try to give some grace, but to be berated for not answering this call when I wasn't expecting one while getting no message of explanation which would have saved us all an hour is horrible customer service. I understand this is not solely on Jimmy John's, but the lack of message and ensuing attitude was. Unfortunately I will think twice before...
Read moreFood? It's Jimmy John's. You get what you get. Not bad. The reason I'm writing is because we just came in, my husband, daughter and I, today around 11 AM. I'm 7 months pregnant and hungry as hell, so I was glad we were the only ones in the store at the time. There were at least 4 guys working there, but they picked the wrong one to work the register. He was super condescending, when I asked for a Slim 4, he was incredulous and made me feel like I asked wrong because he thought I needed 4 slims. He also lectured me on how the Frenchies work ("You do know how Frenchies work, right?" were his exact words) and that I definitely could not add to it... I had just paid for it and not even asked about that, I was in the process of getting my drink. And I told him honestly that I didn't know you just picked them up at the register, meanwhile he made me feel like a total idiot. Not a fun experience. Go to the Subway on Langford, the owners there are...
