After multiple conversations with management, (the managers on duty by the way were named Brock and tye,.) And it being made quite clear that due to previous issues with respect to both food safety as well as order accuracy, I specifically requested that my entire order be prepared by management only, Monica was the individual who took my order, and I had a recording of her reading the order back to me not once but twice and making sure that it was very well understood that in addition to the protocol stated above, that there was to be no pork products on the cheeseburger that was part of the meal for my family. In addition to the inaccuracies and the flagrant disregard for my family's religious preferences, the final straw was when I called back to speak to Brock as the senior manager on duty within about 20 minutes of leaving the restaurant with the order that he handed me directly and personally reassured me that it was flawless and that my request for management only for the order had been respected.. during the final phone call upon recognizing the error, I was told by the young lady Monica, that"".. There was nothing she was going to do at that point to assist me and that she didn't care if I spoke to the managing partner about it as she was very confident that her position was beyond secure. She must have truly felt bulletproof when she told me that I was just going to have to deal with the fact that Brock was in a meeting ( allegedly) and that she didn't have any time to waste on a conversation to correct the situation.. "".. it's truly sad to see that with all of the things that make it so hard for people to enjoy a peaceful evening with their favorite restaurants, that this is truly the standard in which our hard-earned money as both working class individuals as well as small business owners, has been allowed to sink and remain at, as not just family-based consumers, but truly a community...
Read moreFrom the moment you enter a restaurant, your first impression sets the tone. I am no restauranture, but I hold this philosophy. My family of 4 walked in to this location, and immediately had to wait for the host/hostess to be found. An older couple were in front of us. A host finally arrived after about 3 minutes. The older couple was greeted and then an assistant manager showed. The older couple ignored the host and only wanted to speak to the assistant manager. Then the manager showed up and it was clear the manager knew the older couple. They continued to chat for several minutes. Never once was my little family acknowledged. Another family arrived and noticed what was going on and got behind us respectfully to also wait. Finally, after more than 7 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged, the older couple was taken away to be seated. The host and both managers disappeared as well. When the host finally came back, we still were not acknowledged. As we step forward to figure out if we can be seated, two ladies come in and jump right in front of us and approach the host. Although we said something to the new customers, we were ignored by both them and the host. We finally get sat but had to ask for kids menus. I have two children...very obvious they are children and not adults. The host got the menus but forgot silverware, which contains the crayons for kids menus. I want to add the only reason I am giving this review 2 stars is because the waitress was excellent and the food was good as well. I did try to flag a manager down, but they seemed too busy to care. It will be a long time before I return to this location, if I come...
Read moreI went to Longhorn excited for my first time and also excited because i was on a date..Walking thru the doors there was a strange smell in the air which we both attempted to overlook. I ordered a medium well steak which came out not slight warm pink middle but red..Sent the steak back for a little longer cooking and it came back the same very red inside difference is there was red blood oozing out the top..sent it back again..Steak came back slightly less red and pink in the middle but that bloody juice was still oozing out the top. This time the manager came out with the steak. He asked was it ok and at that moment i pointed to the blood oozing out the top. The manager actually tryes to convince me that was there "special love sauce". I then asked what kinda sauce he then replied its a butter and seasoning sauce. I said your butter sauce is red ? I proceeded to cut into the bloody area of my steak then took my fork and pressed on the meat and more bloody juice came oozing out..He took the steak back yet again. At that point the steak mixed with the unclean smell in the air did it for me and my date. The waitress comes over and asked is everything ok. I explained the blood to her and she got smart saying, "well with a medium well steak your gonna have blood I don't know how else to say it". That did it! Once the manager returned we left. We said we d pay for our drinks. He said dont worry about it. Thats was...
