Update to my review below: Manager Trecia from other location called me- was very apologetic and wanted to know exactly what happened so they can rectify and train their people- I think as customer, we will agree that when businesses acknowledge the problem, apologize for the mistake and OWN the problem- that is all we ask for. I am glad she called - it shows they do care about the customer and they care about getting it right. I am changing my review to 5 stars overall.
I ordered through the Magic noodle website for food to be delivered and asked that they ring the bell rather than leaving at my door. After placing order, i got a text from Uber eats that they were on their way.. I get another text a few minutes later that they delivered w a picture of a front door that wasn't mine! I quickly called the restaurant to let them know it was delivered to wrong house and they said they would get a hold of driver and have it redelivered. I get a call back from the manager- who told me they dont have the drivers number and that I would have to call Uber eats and there was nothing he can do! I was like- I didnt contract Uber eats, you did! I ordered off your website and not Uber eats direct. Again he said, nothing he can do. So now, I am out $120 and no food. Since he wasnt coming up with a resolution to my problem, I ask him, can they remake the food and I will send someone to pick up. I had people coming for dinner and no food! He said okay and i said I want a refund for the $25 I was charged for tip and delivery. He said he would see what he could do and hung up on me! I understand mistakes happen but to not offer to make it right and told me I was SOL. He didnt even offer to refund me for the food I didnt get or to remake it. I had to be the one to tell him what he needed to do. A few minutes later, I got a call from the driver asking me for my correct address. She said that the people living in the house she delivered to came out and told her that it wasnt theirs and that the restaurant had given her the wrong address. I eventually got my food but with no help from...
Read moreWell to start off I wanna say the place did look nice, clean and organized. The waitress we had was kinda slow with us being the only ones in the place. First mid step was they gave me a glass of water with food on the lip of the cup. I asked for another glass of water an I was presented with one. My main reason for giving them a 1 star as a review is because the food tasted like store bought ramen noodles with no taste. I ordered the braised beef stir fry an asked for it to be spicy if the could. What I got was a very bland beef an noodles. We also ordered the chicken fried rice and a chicken skewer. The chicken fried rice was just as bland as the beef noodles I had ordered. The chicken skewer was about the best tasting thing we had ordered. We asked for boxes for our food(we only ate a 1/4 of each meal). We then paid for our meals a left a tip. When we were getting ready to leave one of the managers or owners asked us what we thought. I told him flat out, the food was not good at all. He did not get mad or try a back a forth we me so I felt the respect from the manager or owner. Maybe they was training new cooks or maybe they was just having...
Read moreMagic Noodle served us some hot dog-textured, fishy-tasting chunks on a skewer and had the audacity to label this as Japanese “okonomiyaki” on the menu. That’s not just inaccurate — it’s disrespectful. What we were given was closer to a gas station snack than anything you’d find in Japan. It was culinary identity theft of the highest order.
The crab rangoon? Straight from the freezer. Greasy, generic, deep-fried triangles of disappointment — same as you’d find in a mall food court.
I was served my entree nearly 20 minutes before my husband, who just sat there waiting — only to be told his food was delayed because the restaurant “ran out of noodles.” At a noodle restaurant.
This place serves up watered-down, Americanized interpretations of Asian dishes for people who’ve never had the real thing — and worse, don’t realize they’re being duped. If you care even a little about authentic Asian food, save your money and...
