Editing to say, ask for Phoebe. She’s seriously incredible, she’s a the best! She knows the basics of what we like, and even remembered what pizza our daughter likes-wow! It was so unexpected but made such a huge impression! We don’t even have to ask anymore, she enters her pizza in as we sit, we always order hers while we order drinks. So impressed, it’s hard to find this kind of service anymore IMO. She stands out, but so many of the servers here are seriously so great. I don’t think we’ve had a single bad experience here. We come back multiple times a month for a reason.

We used to live by the OG location, but now are in Lees Summit/Independence area. This location delivers an exceptional experience, every single time. I cannot recall a single bad visit, and we have come here at least twice a month for the past few years. It’s worth the trip.
The recipes are consistent with the original, the beer is cold, and there’s rarely ever a wait when we arrive (even during a Friday night dinner rush, our usual time to visit). If there is, I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than 15 minutes. They’re always packed, but always well staffed—we never feel neglected. That’s something I truly appreciate, especially as someone who also works in service. Plus, it’s a safe bet that we know our kiddo will love.
The only thing I wish it had, was an outdoor fireplace like the Martin City location. Other than that, we can count on friendly, prompt service—the staff is always fantastic.
It’s hard to choose a favorite pizza, but we almost always get the Steging. I switch between the Spanakopita, Wild Mushroom, and Heartland. All solid choices, especially when ordered extra crispy. My husband almost always orders a Hard Way, when I have beer, I love the Yoga Pants. If it’s available, I also love the Yes Way Jose. They offer Deep Eddy vodkas, which we order often too.

Read moreI’m a pretty laid back guy and understand that mistakes are made, but lying about them and not fixing them at the restaurant is unacceptable. Came in with a party of 8 at 5:45pm. Ordered dinner at 6. I never received my 8” pizza and the server never checked on it. When I finally corralled him, he explained a mix up in the kitchen and one would be coming out in 15 minutes.
Fast forward to 7:15 and we needed to leave the restaurant. No pizza ever came out. The manager said it was never put in and sorry but there was no pizza. She should be absolutely embarrassed by this type of customer service. My wife ended up talking to the server and the manager came back out with a $50 gift card. To be there 90 minutes and not be able to produce an 8” Aloha pizza is ridiculous. I was extremely patient and even still tipped the server. Mistakes are made, but at least do your best to correct them.
Needless to say there are many pizza places in Lee’s Summit to frequent and I will be doing that in the future. I will be donating the gift card to my school to award a staff member at a faculty meeting. Bottom line- just be truthful and try to correct mistakes as opposed to lying and throwing your hands up- prioritize fixing...
Read moreI came here on Reddit's recommendation for "Kansas City's best Caesar salad wrap" and I'm only sort of glad I did. The wrap was mediocre but okay- not nearly enough lettuce and so much tortilla that it was mildly infuriating (why have a huge tortilla if you're not going to put the proportionate amount of filling?!) but the flavor of the dressing along with the olives was great. The dressing was so good I asked for a side of it, because the wrap was disappointing. Almost good. Nowhere near great. I wish I would have just gone with the chicken Caesar salad itself, which was a menu option. My wife had the thai chicken wrap, that was fantastic. It was pressed hot and we were both surprised how much we liked it. Our daughter had the salmon BLT and she enjoyed it (even for a picky eater!). All of our wraps and sandwiches came with truffle parm kettle chips, they were good. We had the pretzel bites as an appetizer and they were okay, probably wouldn't purchase again. Tasted frozen. The star of the show though was our server, Abbi, who both greeted us at the door and served us. She helped us go over the menu, and wasn't pushy at all, checking in often but not hovering. She was great, even though the...
