It is with heavy heart that I write this review. I am pleased that McDonald's has provided healthier menus, which is why I started going back to this fast food establishment, for this I thank you. My only irritation is the drive-up service. I know there will be mistakes and I'm fine with that, no one is perfect BUT these mistakes are happening more and more. Now when I go to the drive up I cannot just take my order and leave trusting that I have the correct order. I must pull everything out of the bag, open it, and check to see if I have the correct order. Example: Approx. 7:15-7:30, Sunday, July 5, 2015 on my way to work I stopped at the drive-up ordered an Egg McMuffin and medium coffee with 2 creamers. I pulled up to the window, paid, went to second window. Waited for a bit and finally a woman came to the window, handed my coffee, stood there for another minute looking at the back and told me they were waiting on english muffins to make my order. ??? Another female came to the window talked to the first one, asking if she gave me my coffee, answer yes, she came back and asked her again if I had my coffee, 1st lady 'yes'. I should have checked my coffee then but I didn't think about it. After several minutes of waiting I was finally given my Egg McMuffin and drove away. By the time I was on Chipman Rd I took a sip of my coffee and realized that it was not coffee but a latte. I do not like these at all and even though I usually just eat incorrect orders, chalking it up to my lack of attention, this was a pure waste of my money. I usually stop at McDonalds for breakfast on my way to work so turning around and getting this resolved is not an option. Sad to say that as efficient as McDonalds is trying to get with 2 drive-up lanes and quick service, they are sacrificing their customer service and attention to details. Yes, I will continue to stop at this McDonalds, it is only 1/2 mile from my house and I enjoy the connivence but I am saddened at the fact that I will have to go back to checking my order before I...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at McDonald's - Incorrect Order and No Refund!
I recently visited McDonald's with high hopes for a quick and delicious meal, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. To my dismay, I received the wrong order, and when I brought this to the staff's attention, they outright refused to give a refund or even replace the incorrect items.
The guy in the yellow shirt said F off.
The frustration began when I received a bag full of items I hadn't ordered, and my actual order was nowhere to be found. Despite the obvious mistake on their part, the staff seemed uninterested in rectifying the situation and showed no empathy for their blunder.
The lack of concern for their mistake was disheartening, as I was left with an order that I didn't want and didn't pay for.
When I asked for a refund, I was met with resistance and told that their policy didn't allow for refunds on incorrect orders. This was both frustrating and baffling, as it was evident that the mistake was entirely on their end.
A customer should never be held responsible for a restaurant's mistakes, especially when it comes to something as basic as getting an order right. It's disappointing to see a well-known fast-food chain like McDonald's display such a lack of accountability and customer service.
In the end, I left the restaurant dissatisfied, hungry, and out of pocket, with no resolution in sight. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I am hesitant to return to McDonald's in the future.
I hope that McDonald's takes this feedback seriously and works to improve their customer service and order accuracy. As customers, we deserve better treatment and more responsible handling of mistakes. Until significant changes are made, I cannot recommend McDonald's as a reliable and satisfactory...
Read moreI find myself needing to reduce my previous rating (which was a 4-star) to a 1. Ever since posting that, this place has been consistently rude and extremely inconsistent with their food.
I will give credit to the morning crew as their food seems to be better-ish than the evening crew and their customer service is better as well. The night crew is abysmal. They are extremely slow, the food is always disgusting and they are outright hostile to customers and door-dashers that go inside. One screamed "I don't need you to tell me how to do my f'ing job" to a customer last week while I was in there because she had been waiting almost AN HOUR on a coffee and asked what was going on. I was appalled. Not a single manager stepped in. It was wild.
Two days ago I got a 20pc Nugget and two medium fries, and when I got home there was FIVE french fries in the second medium, and all of the food was stale and cold. This is not an abnormal experience at this location. They frequently either forget food or give you way too little - and never count on it being fresh. Ever.
There is one employee there named Tony (I believe) and he is always super nice to everyone 100% of the time. There is not a single other employee in that store that deserves their job. They are all miserable, mean people that seem to hate customers and hate fresh...
