Was door dashing at night and yes it was late but I arrived in the drive through at 11:50 to pick up the food to deliver. They never asked to take my order after sitting there for a little while so I pulled up to the next window. I saw an employee so I tried waving them down as to not be rude and honking my horn at them. No one responded to my waves. THEN I circle back thinking they just didn't see me and I go back back to try again. I ended up giving a courtesy honky at the window because I saw a woman and thought she could help me get the food I needed in order to do my job. Eventually, after I realize I'm being ignored these two women come up to the window and I think they're coming to help me. WRONG. Without making eye contact or saying a word to me the woman who I assume was the manager being as she came from the office and the other woman kept looking to her to see what to do LOCKED. THE. DOOR. I yell to them that I have a door dash and am furious because this is my job and they are preventing me from doing it.they go to the next window and I go as well and am still honking trying to get them to even TALK to me. Of course they did not and continued to ignore me. My boyfriend, the calmer of us two, tried being civil and going up and knocking on the glass when they were right there to which again they obviously ignored us. Feeling defeated I left and tried figuring out my next step and tried to see if I would still be compensated for my time through doordash and I see I need to call then resteraunt as the first step to this process. So I do. As upset as I was I didn't yell over the phone I explained I needed my meal for door dash to which the woman VERY coldly responds. "We're closed" which yes I understand because I worked in the food industry for 3 years in the back of house that late orders are frustrating. But that's not my fault I'm simply the middle man. Not to mention I was there BEFORE closing time. Realistically, this is not why I am livid. Like I said, It was a late order and of course everyone wants to get home and clock out. However, the way of which this was handled was so insanely unprofessional and inappropriate. Yes it is a McDonald's and not a 5 star Michelin restaurant, that's not the service I'm expecting. But, never in my life has an employer been so selfish that they would straight up ignore and then be rude the the customer. Like I said I worked in food service so I have never been a "Karen" like this, but this is actually insane work behavior. I genuinely believe that McDonald's needs to look into their staff especially the two women one seemed white and the other seemed mixed, one with dyed hair I think, both on the heavier side as a description and consider if those are members they want on their staff. This was last night...
Read morewe had ordered online and got a bunch of food, like 6 sandwiches, 3 fries, yk the whole deal, and we ordered sauce as well, but when we checked after going through the drive through we didn’t get any of the sauce we ordered, so we went back through the drive through, dude at the window was pretty cool, and he said he would let the people in the kitchen know we just wanted a little bag of sauce and had no issue, but when we pulled up to the second window, the girl was saying since we didn’t order anything she doesn’t know if she can give it to us, and then we told her we did get food tho and she said, ok then maybe 4/5, and we asked if we could just get a couple more and explained the food situation and that we just wanted a good amount of sauce, and she said ok well idk i’ll have to get a manager for that and left got the manager and he tried to tell us no at first but then turned around and said we could then get 2 more, which we said fine and he got it for us, but it’s just irritating bc we normally get a lot of sauce, and normally don’t ever have an issue, and on the app it lets you get up to 99 sauces i believe or so, so either way if we want 10 sauces i would just like to get 10 just because we also just got so much food i really don’t understand. EDIT: also we have went through the bag once again, and there are basically no fries, we both got large and it’s almost empty in one of them and not a single fry in the bag, this is disappointing especially bc we had gotten a fry earlier that day from a different location so we can tell the very heavy difference. literally so...
Read moreI came thru the Drive up window to get a Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. When i asked if it was spicy THE sandwich was changed from the deluxe to the spicy. When i got to the pay window and explained to the young man he CHANGED it to the deluxe. He was very polite and friendly. He asked someone named Stephanie to Please come and help him to make the change. She came over and would not let him even finish his sentence to explain what the order should be. She then turned and walked away. Needles to say my Deluxe chicken sandwich had 2 pickles and a burnt bun. The chicken was cold. What bothered me more is this was not a busy time. I was the only one in line and it was 1 sandwich. I was shocked at the way Stephanie was with the young man. He said Please when he talked to her. He said Thank you 4 times to her. She was Rude to him and very snotty. If she would just listen without interrupting him i would have come home with the right sandwich. As i hear him say thank you 4 times to her for her help she could NOT even acknowledge that he was there let ALONE to say your welcome. If Stephanie is a supervisor or some kind of management she needs some time learn how to treat people. . Some BASIC manners to address the employee. Aside from being rude to the customer. I cant imagine that is the way that the owners want anyone treated. The young man DID NOT DESERVE HER HATEFULNESS. I HOPE THAT SHE...
