Horrible customer service on 10/23/2021.
I had placed an order online for one dozen custom bundtinis for pickup on the morning of 10/23/21. My daughter and I picked up our order at the correct time. Take our order home, open the box and realize that itâs not what was ordered. I called the store and explained the problem. The girl that I spoke to said that she would need to speak to her manager and she put me on hold. A few minutes later another girl (which I now realize was Briana) told me that they could redo my order or give me a store credit. Her tone and attitude were extremely unprofessional. I opted to have my order done correctly as this was for my daughter-in-lawâs birthday party for that day. She seemed annoyed and asked when I wanted to pick them up. I answered that I would like them as soon as possible because they were for a party. She then made me repeat what I had ordered and said they would be ready at 11:15. Again, her tone and attitude were so off-putting and unprofessional. She then told me that I had to bring the wrong order back to PROVE that what I had picked up was really the wrong order. I was shocked.She made me feel like I was lying about my order.
I went back to the store with the wrong order. Thatâs when I met the person on the phone, Briana. She was rude from the get-go!! I showed her the wrong order. She said âYup!! They gave you a standard assortment!!â She was loud!! She didnât apologize. She wouldnât look at me. As Iâm asking her what sheâs going to do with the wrong order, she takes the box from me, goes to the back and yells that sheâs going to throw them out!! YELLS. AT. ME. FROM.THE. BACK. OF. THE. STORE. I was shocked. She comes back with the âcorrectâ order. Informs me that she already unsealed the box to prove that I was getting the right order. I asked why she unsealed it before coming back to me and why wasnât I allowed to open it. AGAINâŚattitude. She loudly tells me again that she opened it to prove to me that I got the right order. I then asked if she was the manager.I get a loud âYES!!â I then asked her why she was being so rude. I get a loud âHow am I being rude?!â I could not believe that I was being talked to like this from a manager. Briana was completely rude, unprofessional AND I never once received an apology.
I have been getting Nothing Bundt Cakes for years. This was my second time using this location. First time was a great experience. Obviously this second time was terrible. I think that my next order from Nothing Bundt Cakes will be at the Metcalf location even though it will be a drive. I have never had any issues with that location.
I did email the LS location after my visit hoping that it would reach one of the owners. I had asked if there was a number they could be reached at to discuss the poor customer service. I couldn't imagine it taking long to stick the decorations on a pre-iced cake BUT if it was a problem, we should have been informed when we ordered it. Instead the cashier placed our order and told us we would need to wait. No problem. While we are waiting, the baker from the back walks out and loud enough so that we can hear, corrects the cashier that orders can't be placed after 5:30. I immediately checked my phone to see that it was 5:15 at the time. The baker returns to the back to complain to her coworker loudly about our order. When it came out at 5:45 (45 mins after we arrived), she rudely called my name. Usually we just buy a few of the bundtlets but tonight as a last minute thought we decided to order a 10â frosted Bundt cake to bring to our (socially distanced) Christmas gathering with our immediate family. Unfortunately we had some issues with the online ordering system and after a couple of phone calls with the store & the bank we were able to resolve the issue very quickly. Chris was super nice and helpful, as well as the girl who answered our first phone call (I believe her name was Makayla).
