My hubby and I stopped in for coffee before heading to a birthday party at a park nearby. We had never been and they’ve just celebrated their 2nd anniversary! The atmosphere: colorful, fun, and inviting! There was a small Bible study going on while we were there and maybe a few other patrons around the 8:00am timeframe on a Saturday morning. She even has fresh flowers on the tables and bouquets for purchase! The service: Jennifer (the owner) was making the coffee and food solo while we were there and she was very upbeat and kind. The coffee: DELICIOUS- Jennifer suggested the coconut caramel iced coffee and boy did it not disappoint!! Seriously, try it. You’ll be addicted at the first sip. The food: We ordered the Wake & Bacon burrito to go, and The True for our friend. Both were yummy 😋 We didn’t get a chance to try anything else but there were a variety of danishes, cinnamon rolls, etc. I only wished we lived closer so we could come more often! Jennifer really cares about each person who walks through the door- it shows in her demeanor and in how she treats everyone. She knows her regulars! Definitely worth a try if you’re stopping through onto another destination or if you’re local. Cups ahoy! ⛵️ ☕️

This is a very pleasant, beautiful coffee shop with a cozy, personable vibe. The decor is all centered around boating (because of the Lakewood area), and there's a nice variety of seating options. I got coffee with an egg and turkey sausage on muffin. The proprietor, Jennifer, knows most of her patrons and learns the names of the ones who are new. The cinnamon rolls seem very popular here. Another plus: you can drink from beautiful ceramic coffee mugs if you are dining in.

Terrific neighborhood coffee shop. The kindest, thoughtful help, they take the time to ask how your days is & always try to accommodate your special requests. Jen loves kids & dogs and they’re always welcome. The coffee she brews is fantastic, best around….And my granddaughter loves the chocolate milk.

Tried this place, hopeful that it’d be a good little coffee shop. I got an iced coffee with some flavor syrup and almond milk. I think they may have forgotten the flavoring, and the coffee itself just kind of tasted like water, or extremely watered down, no taste. After the worker mixed/shook my drink and poured it into my cup, none of the ice came with it, so there was no ice in my iced coffee, making it warm. I took a couple sips and was done. It also seemed that the staff had just not been trained adequately, as they seemed unsure of what they were doing. I didn’t order any food or pastries, but noticed the cashier remove a pastry from the package with bare hands, and put it on a plate to serve the customer. After having dealt with money and the register.

Maybe could be worth trying again after they’ve been...

I absolutely love OverBored Coffee!

This place has quickly become my go-to spot in Lakewood. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a cozy hideaway. The staff is always super friendly, and they really know their coffee. Whether I’m in the mood for a classic espresso or one of their seasonal specialty drinks, it’s always on point.

The pastries are equally amazing – fresh, delicious, and the perfect pairing to my morning latte. And don't get me started on the vibe. With comfortable seating and a cool, laid-back environment, it’s the perfect spot to work, catch up with a friend, or just relax.

OverBored Coffee is truly a gem in Lakewood, and I can’t...
