Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Ordered a pizza online tonight and got an email saying it would be delivered about a half hour later. 45 minutes later I called the store to ask where my order was. He said he only had 1 driver and he would be back shortly to pick up my pizza and deliver it. 15 minutes later the pizza shows up at my door but is stone cold. I got in my car and drove to the store a little upset about my order. Manager apologized and said they had been busy and offered to re make my pizza. Said it would take about 10 minutes. He then gave me $10 cash for the inconvenience. I appreciate him giving some of my money back but why in the heck does it take only 10 minutes to make a pizza but took an hour to deliver it only about 4 blocks from the store??? Last time I ordered from this location I picked up the pizza vs having delivered. Got home and opened the boxes and the pizza looked like a 3 year old cut it. Every piece was a different size and shape. Pizza Hut is the same distance in the opposite direction. I’ll be giving my business to them...

We had one of the worst pizzas that we have ever had from Papa Johns last night. It was under-cooked & the onions were raw. There was so little meat & veggies on it that they were hard to find. The website said $12 for a "specialty" pizza but I was charged much more than that & it was hardly ediblel. I ordered cheese breadsticks & a 2 liter of soda which was supposed to be a "combo" price which translated must mean "bait and switch which costs way more than you are told that it will be" because the whole ticket was $28, so either they charged extra for each meat & veggie ingredient which means that a "specialty" pizzz consists of dough & cheese or the cheesey breadsticks & the 2-liter were very expensive. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth & it will be a very long time before I can try this...

Recently I placed a large order here for a last minute family get together. I was stressed and overwhelmed to get things done at the last minute. Walked in to get my order and was struck by the kindness of the staff. The food was piping hot, they offered to carry the pizza's to my car, and even offered to lend me a pizza carrier to keep them warm when I mentioned i was grabbing the food on my way home and my house was another 20 miles away. The pizza was delicious and perfect. We had a great night and the food ended up being one of the easiest parts. I will order from here on my way home more often. It hard to find places that still believe in offering top notch...
