This was my first time at Pegah’s. We checked out the menu online and my group was impressed by the numerous choices. Upon arrival we noticed the restaurant was pretty busy. We were sat promptly and our server was quick to take our drink order. We placed our food order and our server had to clarify our details a few times (the menu is fairly large). The wait wasn’t terrible before our food arrived. A few of our food items lagged behind the first wave of food. We noticed we didn’t have any silverware at that time, and we asked our server to provide some (she did). We weren’t totally impressed by the food. It was acceptable, but didn’t quite have an impressive value. My friend commented that his Steak Wrap was mostly lettuce. My order of wings was a little small for my taste. The restaurant was a little loud and our server didn’t return to the table after our food was delivered, except to deliver our checks. I may try this again to see what happens, but overall I...
Read moreDespite the name, this is basic American diner breakfast menu and not Mediterranean. I guess we were in the mood for Fig Tree, didn’t realize it’s basically iHOP.
That said, we were really surprised by the food. Portions were great. The pancakes are honestly some of the best I’ve had and the veggie omelet was probably one of the best omelets in the city. Fresh eggs, tons of toppings inside, not too greasy.
Place is a little cleaner inside after their remodel. We plan to go back and try it again.
My suggestions- add a fresh squeeezed juice. Put something on this menu other than basic stuff… maybe huevos rancheros or chilaquiles, even just some specialty jam or something. Some seasonal specials, something with some spice or seasoning or something.
Last, the TVs are a nice addition but the high school decorations have GOT to go, just one...
Read moreIf you haven’t been to Pegahs yet, run there now! Seriously such delicious food. You can tell it’s made with love and homemade at that. Haven’t had anything that wasn’t scrumptious! Love their big menu, you could eat there all week and never get bored. And let’s talk about their take out game, it’s so well executed. To put the fries in a bag so they don’t get soggy, wrapping the celery in foil so it stays fresh and crispy, never forgetting anything which is huge. Usually I am disappointed with restaurants and their take out bc something is always forgotten but not from Pegahs, they have it down to a science! And the staff, the staff are some of the friendliest around. So glad to have this place right down the road from where I live, thank you Pegahs and staff for keeping us well fed when we don’t...
