If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner was very rude and not helpful at all. When I first walked in she took a long time to come out the back and when she did she came out texting on her phone. She didn’t greet me, say hello or anything. I had to be the one to speak first and her demeanor was bad like she had an attitude. When I finally got my bowl she threw it on the counter and said here your bowl is done and didn’t say have a good day or anything, just walked off. I asked for pineapple pree on top and she only gave me a drizzle and the smoothie part was very hard and not fresh at all. When I made this known to her she said I “offended” her because no one has had a problem since she’s been doing this for 3 years. I said not everyone is going to enjoy how you make things and she said she doesn’t know what I want her to do because that’s just how it’s made. She started yelling at me and I asked her to stop since I wasn’t yelling at her and she said “well you’re offending me”. I dont usually write reviews, but my boyfriend and I had been excited to try this place since April. I'm not from Lee Summit, so I was hoping to find a regular acai place like the one my mom and I used to go to back home. This will not be that place. The tattooed lady was extremely rude. The first words she said were, "I don't even know what you're talking about", then laughed rudely. We spoke to her for one minute and not a single product description or response was polite, clear, professional, or even an attempt at decent customer service. This was supposed to be a quick fun little Saturday date. We walked in hungry, cheerful and excited. We left hungry, empty handed, walking out with her yelling at us, "If you went to a steak place and asked for a steak from another restaurant..."

I was by no means trying to be rude or disrespectful to their business by asking if they offered something similar to what I usually get back home. I'm just not from Lee Summit and felt like a refreshing acai bowl.
