Had already visited and reviewed the OP branch so was keen to visit this branch in Lee's Summit.
I can't sing this restaurant brand's praises, enough!
I'm impressed by the atmosphere, the service, the cost of the meals, the timeous fashion our food takes to be prepared and brought to the table and of course, the food itself. Just brilliant.
My friend got the calamari starter based on my recommendation from the other branch experience. We were not disappointed! It was as delicious as I'd hoped.
This time around I got the meatloaf, which was my first time having meatloaf in general. It was amazing! My friend got a steak entree ( I forget the actual name).
I'm pleased by my experiences at both branches and ready to try more, as they expand:)
Update: Had dinner there last night with friend. Was not their night at the Lee's Summit branch, at least in terms of getting my meal right. I tried one of their new dishes which had a Mexican-style sirloin, however, when brought to the table, it was drenched in what tasted like ready-made Prego sauce, with mushrooms in it. The steak from this dish was already cut into slices for me, which I'd never experienced before. I like my steak done medium or medium well depending on the venue and can't stand the sight of blood...which unfortunately was what I got. It was tough to gauge whether my steak was bloody or not if it was drenched in a red sauce. They were busy so this time I wanted the steak un-drenched. Same story, bloody inside. By this point, my friend had finished her meal! I rejected the second steak and was offered something else. I chose the blue cheese beef burger patty. No restaurant is always going to get it right and I get that. How issues are tackled speaks volumes about the venue. This branch did everything they could to make it right and for that, I stand by my first impressions! I was charged for the substitute dinner choice, which I found a bit cheeky ( given they had messed up my steak twice and I waited a long time each time). Regardless, their efforts didn't go unnoticed, so again, thanks to the manager and our server.
Update: 07/11/2023 LS Branch Definitely my fave restaurant currently. Simply wonderful in all respects. Starter dish with hummus, pita slices, and special oils was delicious. My bestie got a crispy chicken burger which he had not tried before and I attempted pasta with a shrimp pasta...

I have been to one of these restaurants years ago and decided to try it again when a friend suggested we eat here. This is the new location in LS.
When we arrived around 1130, the restaurant was empty, quiet and spacious! There’s an upstairs for more seating, so you can really spread out in here. With that said, I’m not sure why we had a noisy set of Karen’s seated right across from us when there was so much space to put such a small, loud, 📣 chatty group!
Our server was friendly and on top of the refills. That was greatly appreciated and a big thumbs up for me.😋. I had the sweet potato fries, and a delicious Pepsi that burned like nobody’s business!
I truly hope that restaurants learn that slapping Parmesan on everything does not necessarily make it taste better. It’s still needs some sort of seasoning on it. The green garnishment only garnished my teeth 😁 It had nothing to the taste.
The fries tasted chewy and a little stale. I’ve had fresher and better elsewhere. I forgot to ask my friend if she liked her salad, but since it was devoured, I assume it was edible.😝
The parking lot had plenty of parking at the time we went. I can see how it would fill up quickly if they were busy. I did not see any handicap parking as there are no parking spots right next to the door. All the parking spots have a little bit of walking so if someone needs assistance, it would be best to drop them off if there are no close parking spots
Overall, I don’t ever need to go back again. I hadn’t gone in years and I wasn’t missing anything. Everyone was friendly at this location. I don’t fault the people for the food I fault the chain. There must be something with the food that they get that just doesn’t bring it up to the level of pricing that they are asking.
As always, though this is just my opinion, so do as you will!...
Read moreThis particular restaurant has become one of the top restaurants in the area in terms of food quality, family atmosphere, and service. Our family has been there many times and they continue to impress us ....on every visit as they go the extra mile to ensure your experience is top notch. We recently reserved the patio area for a large reception (50+) and Maria went above and beyond on working with us to ensure every detail was exceeded. Given the prep work and details for the occasion, Maria was quick to respond with answers and provided a number of recommendations throughout the planning journey. She was a rock star throughout the entire process!!! On the day of the event, we worked with Rex as he ensured everything was promptly served in the designated timeslots and the area was fully staffed with the right personnel. One of the items that really stood out to me about Rex was his willingness to continually jump in at any moment whether it was getting drink refills, bringing trays out, etc. He is a manager who leads by example by jumping in when needed. His presence throughout the event and ensuring the execution was on point...is what made the event so successful. In addition, we had two of the best servers, Niko/Maddie, who were flat out amazing as they ensured all the guests were taken care of throughout the night. Not only from handling a number of tables, but also directing various staff members who were continually reloading the buffet...to clearing dishes from various tables. You could tell it was more than a job as they made everyone feel comfortable as they interacted with the guests as they worked. My family thanks you ...Red Door (LS)... for allowing my family to celebrate this special occasion and ensuring everything was on point. We will definitely be coming back and sharing our experiences with...
