Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Though the food is good, the service is good, I have to give this place a solid ONE STAR.

I went there and ordered a medium sandwich meal, with a small mac and cheese as the side. A meal includes a drink.

They ring me up for 20.45 cents. Granted, I added a cookie, but it should not be that much more.

I went home and replicated the EXACT SAME ORDER online that I placed in the store.

I realize there's bigger fish to fry and to fret over than an extra two dollars. But come on. How hard is it to match the combo meal online as the same price in the store.

I don't know why I never checked this before, but today I realized the math just wasn't adding up.

This place needs to do much better at ringing up combo meals. It just feels like they don't care and will just overcharge you if you aren't paying attention and will laugh at you behind your back because they took you for more money than the value they offered.

It just screams lack of integrity. I am going to have to think hard about returning...

We were there last night Sept. 12, 2017 it was terrible! The girl taking our order was her first day to work they put her on a register by herself!!! It took her about 7 minutes to order 1 small sandwich with a coupon on my phone, 1 bag of chips, a 6 pack of Cinnabon's and a water the second order was slightly faster. Poor girl had no one helping her, I felt sorry for her. We waited 40 minutes for our food then they only brought one sandwich out for my husband then asked me what I had ordered. About five minutes later my sandwich arrived. The two couples across from us ordered after us got their food before us they complained about how long it took and they were refunded their money!! The older couple behind us ordered before us and still did not have their food when we were leaving, they showed me their receipt. It had been an hour and 10 minutes since they had ordered!!!! I don't see Schlotzsky's staying in business very long unless they get a good manager and train their staff. I felt bad for the staff you could tell they did not know what they were doing. I was here to pickup a delivery today. I pulled into the drive thru at 11:53am. There was one car infront of me. I was told to pull to the second window. The person infront of me who ORDERED AT THE SCREEN, not a premade order that should already be ready got their food within a minute. We sat at the window from 11:54 until 12:03. No one came to the window to ask what was needed. The woman working headset and drive thru on 1/29/2025 at 11:55am was EXTREMELY rude and EXTREMELY unprofessional. I had to call the store because she kept just looking out the window at me but refused to come see what was needed. Once I called the store and she SAW it was me calling she THEN proceeded to open the window and say, "what did you need" not a hello, not Im sorry for just standing there and not doing my job, not what can I help you with, a "what did you need" SO I had to give a name AGAIN even though I told her the name i was picking up for at the speaker. She then proceeded to hand me the bag aggressively and when I said, "Ive been waiting in your drive thru nearly 10 minutes with NO ONE in it she decided to say "WOW" and slammed the window in my face.
