We visited Saturday, April 5 for a group event, and we ordered food. When the food came, we weren't given utensils, so I went up to the bar to get that. My wife then wanted salt, and when I went up to get that, our server saw me and told I go sit down and wait for her to assist. Well, the problem was that we would have had to sit for ten minutes staring at our food without utensils to use. She came by infrequently, and generally seemed miffed for no good reason. Like others have said, the service here is pretty lame. The food, however, was very good, and the tenderloin sandwich was one of the best we've had. The toilets were clean, and other than the less-than-average service, it was an an enjoyable experience. One employee turned this potential five star review to a three star review.

Looks like they've remodeled since i was there last. Tables are coin operated now. Tables are nice, clean, level. Server was nice. I ordered a philly sandwich, it wasn't bad but the au jus was salty like it had been in the steam table all day reducing. (This is not a bad thing, it just needed more water) it was just salty. They get all the UFC fights and they've got a lot of TVs so you can probably see whatever sporting event you want. Touch tunes jukebox, clean restrooms. They also are equipped for large parties.

Love this place! The servers are prompt and friendly. The food is great. Love the M-F lunch special that gives you an hour of pool when you buy lunch there. This IS NOT a sleezy pool hall. It's VERY family friendly and kids under 18 can be in there until 9pm. My daughter loves playing pool and my husband loves all the sports on the many big screen tvs here!

My boyfriend and I come here every other week for our pool date night. We usually alternate between this location and the one in KC. We walked in, started playing, and were greeted by a server a bit later. I ordered a drink while my boyfriend set up the table. After we get tired of pool, we always switch to darts. I paid our server and we headed over to the dart boards.

Halfway through our game, a new server came by and asked if we wanted anything to drink. I politely declined, and then she asked to see our IDs. I was a bit confused, since in the year we’ve been coming here, that’s never happened unless we were ordering drinks. My boyfriend is 20, and they told us we’d have to leave after our current game. The problem is, we had already paid for multiple rounds.

We were shocked because we know the rule about being 21+ after 9:00 PM, but it was only 4:00 PM. They claimed it was their policy and that it was posted at the front, but the only sign about age says 21+ after 9:00 PM. They told me that if I were his guardian or parent, he could stay—which makes no sense. So apparently, an 8-year-old could be there with a parent, but two adults can’t be there together in the middle of the afternoon?

It’s just ridiculous and really disappointing. This place used to be a favorite, but it’s gone downhill and clearly isn’t what...

I came in with my boyfriend and his family on 4/25 around 7 PM. The server asked me for my ID and she made a weird comment about how my ID was going to expire and when it does they can no longer accept it - it has a few more months left. She then asked my boyfriend for his ID and he said he would just order a water because he wasn’t going to drink anyways and she told him he’d have to give his ID to her or leave. She just kept saying “this is a bar that serves food, I have to see your ID.” He presented it without complaining. My boyfriend’s 26 year old brother did not have his ID on him and she would not accept a photo of it - which is fine, but she told us that he could not be in there and that we’d have to leave. We left without complaining.

Once we got outside we saw on the door it says that minors have to be accompanied by an adult before 9 PM and can’t be in after 9. The server did not give us the option for his 50 year old parents to be his guardian or that we could stay until 9. She had just kept telling us that we had to leave. My boyfriend’s dad went up to the bar and they confirmed that we could come back in but we wound up leaving because they clearly did not want our money that night.

We have been in a few times before and almost never have good service.

Without going into detail about our waiter and his horrible customer service ( could've had a bad day) and what seemed to me a preference in who he treated nicely, (to the fact that one of the gentlemen from the other table he was waiting on said.. "I appreciate you" 😐 to me, as they were leaving)... WEIRD.. but whatever..That doesn't represent the entire place, but that is just my opinion based on how he treated me vs the other 2 tables he was waiting on. But the facts about this place is that the pooltables are off, the atmosphere is dry and slightly unfriendly, and the food is never hot. I could be biased though because I travel from Lee's summit to Lenexa side pockets, just to have a great pool experience with a friendly welcoming vibe, good customer service, and great HOT food, with prompt waiters taking your drink orders and filling you refills before you can finish your first. As well as checking on you as soon as you walk in as well as throughout the entire time. This NEVER happens in Lee's Summit.. for me... I might return because I like to shoot pool avg I live a few miles away, but when I go, I never have expectations of anything more than being able to...
