Smoothie King — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

The reviews are right about service - SLOW. I waited 10 minutes in the drive thru for a smoothie that was sitting there ready to be picked up for 20 minutes (ordered in app) The problem was that there was a car in front of me, and the drive thru lane makes it impossible to reverse and back out of, or I would’ve done that after waiting 2 minutes.

If the person in front of me had an order that required a long waiting time, they should’ve had that person pull into a spot and bring their drink out when ready so that they could serve the rest of the people in line. This is a very common practice at other restaurants. There were no other customers in the store, not sure why it would take so long. Regardless, serve the people who have drinks ready in the meantime.

Also, I’d love if they had caffeine and protein amounts listed in customizations. I don’t ever know how much to add because it doesn’t specify how much I’d be adding if I selected it to put...

this morning I arrived just before open so I parked in the parking lot and patiently waited for 7 so I could order through the app. I waited until 7:10, and the lights were not turned on, there were no other cars parked in the parking lot, no one was dropped off, and I even called and it rang till it told me the voicemail was not set up.

I understand its possible there are staffing issues however there was no signage on the door indicating that. If that is indeed an issue please post something and please coordinate with the app so that people cannot order on the app when there is no one to actually make it.

I ended up at the Raytown location and asked the employee there about it, she did mention other people had mentioned this to her over the past couple of days as well.

I look forward to trying to visit this location again in the future and hopefully updating my review...

I am 18 weeks pregnant and was craving a smoothie and I got on TikTok and found this pregnancy smoothie that I wanted to try thankfully when I arrived I was a little confused on how to order it but the two ladies that work there were very sweet! They helped me make sure my smoothie was perfect and ordered right she even took the time out of her hands to watch the video of what was in the smoothie so it was corrected right! 🩷 they were awesome they even said congrats on the pregnancy and wrote on a sticky note on how I can order it...
