Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Normally this is my go to Sonic. Anymore I'm not so confident in that decision. They've messed up my order the last 4 times I've been there and this time was just annoying. We ordered the fried cookie dough bites that comes with a cup of ice cream. I get to the window with my dog in the car and I guess they assume the ice cream was for him so they stick a dog bone in MY ice cream. If the ice cream was for the dog I would have asked for a pup cup. I didn't do that. Please don't assume things because I shouldn't have to dig a dog bone out of my food. I also asked for a large coke and a small coke and the small coke was missed on my order (it was on the screen when I drove away) so I asked the girl at the window to run my card and give me a small coke and she said "well I already ran your card so im not sure how that is supposed to work"

Let's say she thought I was trying to tell her that the large coke I got was supposed to be a small. The simple answer would be to refund the large and charge me for a small. In this case the problem was more simple than that. I received a large and I ALSO needed a small. Ring up a small coke and swipe the card. It isn't...

You had one job. I gave you three tries, all milkshakes. All during your half-priced shake seasonal promotion this year, which was shockingly not busy at all.

Now I know why.

Not once was the order right. Not once was the order pleasing to sip. Not once did I leave this place without the desire to spike each terrible dessert at their window ad, which had promised me chunks of delicious cookie batter, ribbons of caramel throughout my chocolate malt.

My last and final chance was a simple chocolate shake, still far beyond their grasp. Flavorless, runny. The only upside to this is the whipped cream and cherry.

The same goes for their "route 44s." I'm not sure if there's a secret ratio of flavorings, but if there is...nobody told this staff.

To anyone reading this...just don't. You're better off going literally anywhere else. Even to HyVee, to buy milk and ice cream and whatever you truly want in your shake because it's just not worth the...

The general manager at this sonic should be fired. Idc what her problem is there's no reason for her to talk to me rude and call me a lier. After getting all the way I notice that my family was missing a side item and that we were giving cheese tots instead of cheddar bites I understand they were busy but the Manger said she took my order and I wasn't missing any items and then asked if I had a Receipt I told her the window girl only gave me my card back. The manager called me a lier and hung up on me. I called back asked her did she ask the window girl if I gotten my Receipt she said its in the trash and then hung up on me. This is beyond unprofessional and how she became a general manager idk. But if this is how she handles things then she needs to be fired. Not to mention my daughter's food was so burnt she couldn't eat it. I'll definitely be making a claim with my bank. I WILL NEVER...
