The line for the drive-thru spills out onto Highway 7 even at times I would not expect the coffee shop to have a rush of customers. To this stores credit, the line moves quickly. The staff here are phenomenal. They work squeezing around each other behind the counter like choreography. Their customer service is top notch. It appears these coffee experts really do enjoy their job. I've been to this location several times for complicated orders for three to 4 people (up to 10 customized items of drinks and food), and I can honestly say they have always delivered 100% accurate items. This feat is... mind-boggling to me; Given the multiple customization options available for each Starbucks menu item, I imagine the probability for every item accurately fulfilled to be very low. But no....the cold brew has light ice with oatmilk and 3 pumps of toffee nut syrup exactly as ordered. A few miles down Highway 7 at McDonalds, the Golden arches have gotten our order wrong so consistently, we joke that it's the McDonald's 'surprise grab bag". Order a Diet Sprite? Good Luck!    Read moreThe only reason it gets a 1 star is because the drink is decent. So me and my wife went to the location on Douglas st. In Lee's summit mo. We ordered our drinks had to repeat them multiple times and when the lady ask did I miss anything and I explained to her what I didnt want in my drink she laughed and another lady came over the intercom and said I will do that personally while laughing as well. The original lady came back over and said sorry I cant do anything but laugh right now. I'm sorry but that is not okay to laugh at a customer because they are specific about there drink well I'm sorry me and my wife have restrictions on what can and cant drink because of what hurts our body's physically. So who ever the lady at the window was should not be anywhere near a headset cause that was very unperfessional and rude I would say her name but not one employee was wearing a name tag. So if you are a starbucks customer and have a specific way you like your drinks made do not DO NOT go to this location they will laugh...
   Read moreOof... not often that I ever have to write a bad experience. On the contrary, I prefer to lift businesses up in the public eye. However, a little social experiment of mine yielded some pretty shocking results. What happened? I simply didn't put a tip on my card. The clerk left the drive-thru window open, so I could hear them talking about what I had ordered, and then whispers of discontent followed. What did I get? Well, apparently, a grande is made half-full now. Delivered with no sleeve or stopper. So, coffee sprayed in the car bc the cup burned my hands when I tried to hold it steady. Is this what it comes down to? We now seek to injure a customer over a $1 tip? I'd love to share the receipt with you, but I wasn't allowed to have one. Fortunately, I have the charge to my account that will show... just in case they try to claim that my statement is false. Please do better.
