Starbucks — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

In between appointments one day and stopped by my favorite place Starbucks for a quick energy boost. I’ve never been to this particular location but it definitely makes my favorites list! I ordered a frozen caramel crunch frappe. My barista was very friendly and professional. He’s the best, and I left a good tip, because my drink looked like a work of art and tasted amazing. Every sip tasted like sweet caramel goodness, but not too sweet and just the right amount of whipped cream. Some baristas are too heavy with the caramel crunch but this one had the perfect amount to balance out my drink. The building was very clean, the drive-thru moved super fast and the parking was not as congested as normal restaurants. Plenty of room to sit in...

Despite getting in and out of this place quickly, I wasn’t happy with my visit. The two girls working were having a conversation when I walked up. The girl working the register didn’t greet me and looked very annoyed that I walked up and interrupted her conversation when I ordered. She continued to act like I was an inconvenience and that my business wasn’t worth her time and continued her conversation with the other girl as my drink was being made, never made eye contact with me. I usually don’t leave reviews, good or bad, but the service was absolutely horrible. There were two girls working the register, one seemed to be training. They were very rude, passive aggressive, and snappy. I understand working food service, I’ve worked it for a very long time, but there’s a difference between being short with customers and being mean.. they were just mean right off the bat with no prompt. I would give zero stars if I could. Felt like the mean girls in high school honestly. Hope their days get better but never...
