Subway — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

I ordered online at least 30 minutes prior to my pick-up time. I arrived on time and waited patiently for someone to acknowledge my presence at the area designated for express pick up. At best, I got a head nod, so I knew they saw me waiting for my sandwich, but they resisted any effort to help me. After a while it became obvious that they had not prepared the sandwich from my on-line order. Finally, after they helped another person who had walked in after me, I interrupted that transaction to ask for my sandwich. She kept saying "yes" and then said something about trying to find some receipt in a pile of trash on the counter top behind her. I then asked if my sandwich was ready or not, then she said someone else would help me. I told them to cancel the online order and I won't eat there again. What was very gross about this ordeal was having to watch large flies dance on a sheet of cookies that lay on the open counter top by a heaping bin of trash in the food...

They usually do okay, or get very close, but today I'm ticked. I come here a lot and never say anything about the mess ups, I just try to be as clear as I can. Today he kept talking to someone else while taking my order. I clarified several times I wanted double meat and double cheese on Italian hers and cheese. I asked for extra parmesean too. He said the intercom wasn't working right and come to the window. He gave me a total but I wasn't done ordering. I asked for a drink and cookies, he said no cookies today. He got me the drink, which I don't think he charged me for, but he charged the double cheese. It seemed low so I asked if I got my double meat or if they just layered it. He said no double meat. I asked him to please put it on the sandwich, that I didn't mind paying. He said he already made it so no and started to close the window. I'm always patient and this one time I wanted to make sure I got my way. They didn't give me the right bread or the extra...

I eat at subways all over town but this is the best in the state or maybe even the country. The people there are so nice and wonderful to deal with. I eat there enough that they know what I want when I come in. We have had the deli trays from different subways over the years, We had this subway make our tray this year for a Christmas party and I have to tell you we did not get enough they were so good everyone wanted more. There bread isn't all smashed and hard its fresh all the time. I happen to love the sliders but my family likes a variety of different styles. We have never had a bad one. Keep up the great service you have been giving and before long you'll be so busy you'll have to get more help. Did I say I love this...
