Saturday, 8-9-2025 – I ordered from Big Biscuit for the second day in a row. My husband picked it up while I was at home getting ready for work. I had called my order in. When he got home, I opened the container and started eating. I also had a single pancake. That’s when I noticed my omelet had sausage instead of the jalapeños I ordered and my correct order was printed on the receipt...I immediately called, and a lady named Emma answered. I explained my husband had just picked up my order about 20 minutes ago and why I was calling. She put me on hold, then came back after speaking to the manager. She asked if I could come back so they could re-make my order. I told her I was heading to work and my husband had a doctor’s appointment. I asked if I could come back the next day (Sunday), and she said yes.
What they didn’t know is my phone records all my calls — so this conversation was recorded.
Sunday morning, I called to get my remake. I gave my name and explained it was a replacement order. The woman who answered put me on hold and never came back. After about 10 minutes, the phone hung up. I immediately called back four times in a row each time it just rang with no answer. I never got my order.
Monday, 8-11-2025 – I called at 6:20 AM to reorder the replacement. This time I spoke to Evan, who said he was the manager. I explained I was calling to place the replacement from Saturday, and told him I had tried calling Sunday but was put on hold, hung up on, and ignored. Evan said it was a misunderstanding and that they would not replace my order since it was days later. I said everything is recorded and im a regular paying customer never had an problem he didnt want to hear it so I said im a few turns away im about to come and pay you any visit so I can let him listen to my audio he listen and still said no and started going back and forth
I showed him my phone log and the audio proof of every call. Even with proof, he refused to honor what was promised. He went back and forth with me, had a nasty attitude, and was not approachable. Even Emma, who was nearby, looked shocked. After making me feel unappreciated and low he with an attitude said he would remake it with a nasty attitude remind you they have cameras and also all this is getting recorded as well.
After making me feel humiliated, dismissed, and unappreciated as a paying customer, I told him “never mind” and walked out. This whole incident is recorded as well.
I’m extremely disappointed in Big Biscuit, and it’s clear to me that Evan has likely been a problem before his attitude shows he’s not approachable and does not value customer service. No one should feel the way I did leaving there. Im mad upset and...
Read moreI’ve never felt the need to write a review before until my experience at Big Biscuit in Lee’s Summit. The staff was extremely rude and the service and food was just okay.
For context, once a month my friends and I get together and have a Saturday morning breakfast at a local restaurant so that we still get to hang out on a consistent basis since we’ve all gotten older and have families now. Because of this, we normally end up staying at the restaurant a couple hours, however, if the restaurant is busy and they have other patrons who are having to wait to be seated, we remain courteous and will take our conversation elsewhere to allow for other customers to be seated. Well, on this particular Saturday when we were at the Big Biscuit, they were not particularly busy and not once had customers waiting to be seated, so we ended up staying our normal time of a couple hours. Mind you, we ate and paid for our meals within the first hour, and then talked the rest of the time without thinking much of it. After being there 1.5 hours a server came and took our water glasses away which were the last items that remained on the table. We thought that was odd but were in conversation so we didn’t think too much into it.
After a couple hours had eclipsed and we had solved all the world’s problems 🤣, we said our goodbyes and got up to leave. As we were walking out, a couple of the servers stared at us from across the restaurant, applauded and exclaimed “FINALLY!”
My wife worked as a server all through college so she has instilled in me the nuances of serving which I try and share with others. I say that to say, we try and be very thoughtful when at restaurants as I’ve heard some of the serving horror stories my wife has been through. So when this happened, we were all pretty shocked. Especially with the passive aggressive behavior as not a single word was said to us the entire time we were there regarding needing to clear the table. Otherwise, we would have gladly left without a problem.
Safe to say, I will never be going back to this place again and will not be...

We frequent all of the big biscuits around town. We love their food and were super excited to hear we were getting one in Lee's Summit! We have gone to this location multiple times on different days of the week, at different times of day, with and without our kids. EVERY time the service has been AWFUL. So bad that we haven't left ANY tip. And coming from service industry professionals, that says a lot about how bad our experiences have been. This place is busy, we totally get that, BUT the servers have no personalities, no service skills, drop the check as soon as you get your food. Um, how about..... Is everything tasting good? Anything I can bring you? How about a drink refresh? There's no lobby so if you happen to be seated close to the door, people will be standing right by your table as you try to enjoy your meal and because you get your check when your food is brought, you definitely feel rushed out the door. Again, I get that they are busy and trying to turn tables quickly, but come on. And people that come in with kids always need more napkins! And boxes - with portion sizes like theirs, bring boxes! It seems as though this location has hired anyone who has applied and the servers that are "training" the new staff, have NO business...
