The Paperback Bakery is by far the best in town! The bakery treats are to die for, regardless of what you are looking for. Whitney's cookies may be the best I’ve ever eaten. We also tried an Oreo ball and of course we had to take one of Whitney's famous cinnamon rolls to go! We enjoyed the cinnamon roll the next morning, we warmed it a bit and it was all of the ooey-gooey goodness we had dreamed of!! Also, although Whitney doesn’t bake them herself, the availability of Gluten Free treats is great. We took them to a family member with celiac and she said they were the best cookies she has had in the 20+ years since she was diagnosed. There is a cute little room you can stay and eat in, and I love being able to stop in for a treat and work for a bit while I am there! What a great place in lees summit for a custom tea/coffee shop. Enjoy a tea and fresh bakery item in the book nook area. It was super comfortable, and everything tasted amazing!!! Angi can go over all the blends with you to ensure you get what you are looking for she can also recommend a custom essential oil blend that I can't live without due to my headaches. Can't wait that in Lee summit we have somewhere to come and relax with friends or just hang by yourself or even maybe get some work done in the book area to just get out of the house. We love The Paperback Bakery!! Whitney made a 3 tier wedding cake for our wedding along with multiple sheet cakes!! It was all very yummy and the guests absolutely loved the sheet cakes! She was able to deliver them to our venue an hour away. We looked and looked and looked for a baker that would be willing to make our wedding cake with major food allergies in mind, and Whitney did so with ease! She came in on her day off to completely clean the kitchen to make sure it was free of any contamination and used our dairy free ingredients to make an outstanding cake!
