Tokyo Grill Hibachi & Sushi (SW Market St) — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Our first visit was on Friday evening 3/1/24. Food came out fast, edamame hot and served in a bamboo steamer bowl. Salads were very fresh and dressing tasted freshly prepared. Sushi (lobster roll) was fresh and delicious. Also had the chicken and shrimp combo hibachi which was great. Mushrooms, onions, broccoli, teriyaki chicken, big shrimp, fried rice. The chicken was a little dry, our only comment about dinner. We had real lacquered chopsticks (not the dry bamboo kind), dinnerware matched the restaurant vibe. We left full and happy....

Two weeks ago spent $140 for five mediocre sushi rolls, a few egg rolls, 2 miso soup, a chicken/ rice bowl and three salads. Nothing special about the rolls and barely the size of a half dollar. I ordered the hibachi combo and it was delicious. It included steak, chicken, shrimp, broccoli, and a couple other vegetables. It also came with the option of either steamed or fried rice.
