Wing Studio — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Happened to find this place last night after spending some time in LS. They have a lot of really yummy dry rub options. My husband and I eat keto, so this place is perfect! We like spicy too! I will list the dry rubs we tried in order of our favorite. Spicy honey lemon pepper: this was way better than we expected perfect amount of sweet and heat! Spicy butter: I was really curious with this one but it was head on! Comfy buttery flavor with a little bit of heat. Nothing better: as soon as I tasted this one, I knew...I know what that seasoning is. Spicy garlic parmesan: this one I personally didn't taste much spice or parmesan, but it was good. I also recommend the studio ranch. I usually use way more ranch on my wings, but the flavor these wings had, and they are fresh, didn't use nearly as much ranch. But the studio ranch was definitely delicious. It's like ranch with a kick! There is a bar in the corner, it was closed though (we were there late). We tried this place for the first time today & the initial experience was horrible! We placed the order online, they told us what time the order would be ready for pickup, then we get a text 10 mins earlier than the time that was stated saying the food is ready. We get there to pick up the food & of course the fries were cold & soggy from being in the bag. After going back & forth with staff about the fries they finally remade the fries. Not sure why it took 3 employees to get that handled for us. We understand it was a slow Sunday afternoon so the food was done sooner than predicted but that’s not on the customer. We came from Belton, MO to try you guys so we timed our trip based off the original time we we're given when we placed the order. Customer service definitely needs work. The wings weren’t bad though, they were sauced well & had some unique flavor. We asked for well done wings but they weren't well done so that's the only complaint...

Had the opportunity to enjoy a meal at Wing Studio today with my 5 year old son. This is a local Lee’s Summit wing joint that my son has been begging me to go to. He very much enjoys extremely spicy wings and typically orders the blazing challenge at Buffalo Wild Wings. He usually cries the whole time though like a huge baby and can never actually finish the challenge and get the free t shirt. Kid needs to lock in and quit ordering the blazin challenge. The cost of having to order multiple meals at Buffalo Wild Wings because he can’t finish the Blazin’ challenge is a real pain in the wallet.. and it’s embarrassing. Anyway, we really enjoyed the food at Wing Studio and my son ordered the “hot buffalo” with fries.
