McDonald's — Restaurant in Lee

I wish I got his name but I was so flustered towards the end I didn’t even think to ask until I drove away. But I do know he said he was the assistant manager..

I ordered breakfast this morning and was running late to work commuting almost 1.5hrs one way. I’m hungry and tired because it’s so early and needed something quick.

Just my luck I go to pay and my card gets declined. This has only happened 1-2 times to me before and I have felt intense shame and embarrassment. The assistant manager was so sweet and kind throughout the ordeal and I didn’t even think about how embarrassing the incident was. He was already super personable and kind when I was ordering, saying how pretty my name was, but my interaction at the window after my card declined was when simple human kindness this world seems to be missing.

I ordered just a sandwich and was charged for a meal. Employee could not give 2 craps and just looked at me. It wasn’t worth the fight so I just accepted the meal (for twice the price). Took it back to the car in the rain and found it was the wrong sandwich. Had to go back in and replace said sandwich because I despise pickles on a chicken sandwich. The manager (or lead) had to explain the ingredients of this chicken sandwich after calling for it 3x (keep in mind, this is a very limited menu for McDonalds as it’s on the turnpike). Overall rest stop time 25 minutes and I didn’t even eat there. Not worth it. Better stops on the way...

worst McDonald’s out there and that says alot constantly issues. drive thru was “broke” for over a month with no sign. then when you would drive up to see if they were even open the guy would just be using the window as his eating space. employees can’t take the orders correctly because of the language barrier then give you attitude when you tell them they took the order wrong. then today walk in, stand around for 5 minutes as 3 people in the back just stand there talking like they aren’t on the clock and the old lady stares at the fry machine. the old lady that works night at this restaurant is incompetent and...
