Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lehi

I have visited this Costa Vida location two to three times a month since it opened, as I genuinely enjoy their food. Initially, the experience was consistent with other Costa Vida locations. However, over the past two months, I’ve noticed a clear decline in both portion sizes and customer service, which suggests a shift in management direction.

Portions have gradually become smaller. For example, during my last three visits, the smothered sauce on my burrito didn’t even cover the entire burrito—I could see more tortilla than sauce. Today, the staff member preparing my burrito removed some of the meat after it had already touched the rice and beans, which I found unprofessional.

Additionally, I was charged before my burrito was even completed, and I had to ask twice to receive tortilla chips, which are supposed to be included with the burrito.

In my opinion, the franchise owner appears to be prioritizing rapid returns on their investment, possibly at the expense of quality and service. The focus seems to have shifted from customer satisfaction to cost-cutting...

We were headed home to Lehi coming from slc, we ordered online 30 minutes before arrival, we get there and there was no sweet pork (which is okay, we came by pretty late), they then offered me chicken. Came back to the window 5 minutes later saying chicken was out. So I ended up just switching from a burrito to a cheese quesadilla, which they didn’t help with price wise whatsoever. My wife’s meal came with a very small portion of sweet pork. We had a 4oz ranch and 2oz ranch and got home and neither were in the bag. Luckily I live pretty close so I went back to get the ranch and then they’re sitting there making sweet pork nachos. I am not typically a complainer, I understand it’s a newer location and I understand we were there closer to close. This experience just showed me it’s managed pretty poorly and staff was pretty frustrating...

The girl working the drive through was lowkey a little snappy when I was ordering. And I asked for no cheese on my burrito but they put cheese.

I’m not mad, but it’s just like why were you snappy and then got my order wrong? I’m just a girl. It was still yummy tho and I at the whole thing.

Also isn’t my niece so cute? The silver lining of this whole cheese on the burrito when asked for no cheese thing was that I got to eat with my niece sitting right there on the counter. Her names Melrose. She is chunky af and I’m not complaining. I love...
