F & D's Soul Food & BBQ — Restaurant in Leighton

Hands down the best food I’ve ever had in my life. I knew the second I saw the ramshackle building that we were in for some incredible barbecue.

Apparently it used to be the county jail and town hall. Kinda cool.

Anyway between everyone in my party, we got pork chops, cheese burgers, ribs, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, fries, corn bread, and pinto beans.

All of it was amazing. None of it was left over. I’ve never had pork chops fall off the bone before but these practically did and the rub on them was 😚🤌

I will be recommending this place to everybody, as well as driving out of my way to go there again anytime...

Today was the second time we ate at F & D's, both times after expecting to eat at another place but finding them closed. The food here is fantastic. Smoked ribs, pork chop, and chicken, with great sides. We need to come here on a Friday, when they have fried chicken. As far as I can tell, this is the only restaurant in Leighton that's open, so I'm amazed it isn't packed. Just ordered from here and it was ridiculous. Ordered two burgers with onion rings and a slice of cake. The cake was left out of my order and when I tried to call the store back to see if I could come pick it up they would not answer the phone. On both of my burgers the bacon was not cooked at all. & on my plate I got onion rings and it was a total of two rings and undercooked. I had a mouthful of raw batter. Highly...
