I had a much more pleasant experience with the man who opened the doors for my husband and I at the entrance, compared to the food and service we received from this restaurant. I guess one sure way of telling people to hurry up and get out without actually saying it, would be to give the check to us as soon as you can. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a great area. Nearby there is a lodge, lake, woods, hiking trail, and most importantly for my visits -- an airstrip just a short walk up the road. I have flown in several times to experience the area and every meal I've had has included excellent food and service.
