We just visited on a Saturday at 2:00 on a hot day with our 3.5 and 8 mo. old. We sat under the pavilion and it couldn’t have been more pleasant. It was our first time visiting. I went to the bar first for information while my husband grabbed a table and the menu/service was explained perfectly. I ordered right away for our son and went back to our table to order food for us and flights for each of us. The food was delivered quickly in easy to take home containers. We have always loved this place and this was our 1st time visiting since they remodeled. Whoever was taking orders at the bar was extremely rude and seemed irritated the entire time I was ordering. My 5 year old ordered a root beer(we didn’t realize it was home made root beer) and took 1 sip and asked politely if he could get something different to drink since he was used to regular root beer, so as my husband was still at the front ordering I politely asked if he could get a coke instead of a root beer and the lady literally said “that’s just wasteful” and almost didn’t swap it out for us. Was on a road trip and ended up here not even realizing it was right there along side of the road. Great stop! Beer is some of the best brews I have ever experienced. I chose a flight of 4 beers. One was an Ale that supports the local fire department. The Oktoberfest was very good. And the other two was an Irish Ale and an Amber Lager. I loved them all. Had an appetizer of pulled pork nachos. Delicious! Great bartender that was very personable and loves her job. She even offered to show off the brewery. I highly recommend if you are in the Lena area.
