Besides a couple of kids who just kind of stood there staring at me like I had horns coming out of my head (and seemed like they might have been extras from "Children Of The Corn"), I was told they were closed. Sitting down here for a meal doesn't feel like just grabbing some food - the cozy atmosphere covered in local rep on top of the friendly staff makes this place very pleasant and feels significant to this town, despite my recent arrival.
