TLDR: Hands-down the best subs, wraps, and burritos in the area. Massive portions made perfectly, bursting with flavor. Pizzas are passable depending on what you get. Online ordering is simple and easy too. Pricey, but worth it at least for non-pizza options. Details: The former Village Pizza (which had two owners) was always mid quality with a premium price. When Tomatoes first opened, I was leery. Over the years, Tomatoes has become my go-to place when I want a sub, wrap, or burrito. My favorites are the chicken fajita wrap, the steak combo sub, and the chicken burrito. For this review, I'll focus on the chicken burrito. As you can see in the pics, whilst packed nicely, this burrito is hefty. It weighed 859 grams or a little under 2 pounds all for $18 (at the time of this review, price subject to change). It is crammed with perfectly cooked white rice, black beans, hot grilled chicken, onions, red peppers, and chipotle sauce. The fillings are mostly balanced, maybe a bit more rice than I'd prefer but that isn't a huge issue. The chicken fajita wrap is basically the same experience, except much more spicy (it really does have a kick) and a ton more chicken and veggies. These offerings are far better than what any national chain could ever hope to produce. Again, some may balk at the price, but you literally get what you pay for here. Now the pizzas are a mixed bag. I like the pizzas I have had, but compared to other places in the immediate vicinity, the prices are higher by about $3 or $4 depending on the pizza. Overall, Tomatoes is a little North Leominster gem offering very tasty food that are in portions that justify the asking prices for non-pizza items.

It is no exaggeration to say that my family and I have not had one thing from this pizzeria that is not delicious and well prepared. We have tried several pizzas, appetizers, subs and dinner plates. The pizza is topped with quality ingredients in great ratios. The simple Margarita and the interesting Napolitano are two favorites in our house. Tomatoes' Buffalo chicken wings and onion rings are better than most I've eaten in any sit down restaurant, and the french fries are so good. With good food, reasonable prices and generous portions (see the Cheeseburger dinner), Tomaotes' is our go to for satisfying takeout!

After eating a slice of pizza & tipping the driver 20% on card plus $5 cash tip….this is the driver confirmation..wtf… …. Called and called no answer I paid over $40 including tip for a pizza would you eat after seeing this? I will return the entire pizza back - saved in the basement as shown till tmrw Update: just contacted the pizzeria and was told to address it w grub hub who doesn’t pick up the phone so I will not be ordering again āœŒļø

One of rare places in New England that knows how to make a real pizza!! Very very good… I just found my new pizza joint! (New to area) .. OK an update on tomatoes pizzeria. I’m from New York and New Jersey area. In this area and nothing against anyone from this area but very rarely does anyone know how to cook an eggplant Parm sub. The sub wasn’t soggy and The eggplant wasn’t deep-fried. It was fresh, and one of the best subs I’ve ever had in regard to eggplant. I’ve lived here since 1995, so I know what I speak of. The service is excellent and the food is unbelievable.

This is an update on the pizzeria. I had a buddy come up from Jersey and I told him about how this pizza is fantastic. Of course him being very biased towards New York and New Jersey style pizza, He was reluctant because he can’t stand the cardboard pizza in New England. After trying the chicken Parm, and three slices of a pepper, onion and mushroom pizza, He said that this pizza and sub was better than anything he’s had in years in Jersey. Don’t ever go away from the bread that you’re using for the subs because it is fantastic! I’m hitting the gym extra this week so I can have another eggplant Parm sub!! … or two. Ha

Since moving to this area, I’ve eaten at tomatoes at least a dozen times and every single time the food is amazing…..more importantly, the people that work there and the owners are incredibly nice folks…

Just ate the steak tip quinoa bowl… unbelievable! Large portion, lean meat and tasty...

I absolutely love this Pizzeria. We recently moved to Fitchburg and we were fortunate enough to try tomatoes and we were totally Blown Away. Pretty much anyone can just make a pizza, but this place makes really delicious pizza. TheyThey have mastered their craft. We always order the half and half specialty pizza and we get the super yummy Hawaiian and the other delicious Milano. The pineapple on the Hawaiian is always fresh and the ham is thick sliced. The Milano is made up of fresh tomatoes, fresh spinach, Gorgonzola cheese and bacon as well as the signature tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. We also always get their homemade chicken salad sub which you can tell is Super Fresh and homemade. They've only made one mistake on one of our orders where where they accidentally charged us for two subs instead of one and they corrected it by giving us two free Subs the next time and free delivery on our order after that which I thought was super nice. They really do care about...
