The atmosphere here is part café, part ice cream parlor, part farmer’s marker, and lastly part route 66 all smashed together. You order up at a counter for the café and pay then they bring your food out when done. For the Ice cream parlor part at a different counter you order, get your ice cream, then pay. They have about 10 tables or you can eat outside.

I ordered a Station Cheeseburger Basket ($14.25). This is a 7oz patty and fries. The Burger actually seemed bigger than 7oz. It’s never going to make a list of best burgers. However, it is very good. Juicy and tasty. The fires were also very good. Not the worlds greatest like their menu declares, but a good side to a surprisingly good burger. I also got a pulled pork slider ($3). It was a good. Lastly I ordered a Cherry Bomb ($6.50). This is a Cheerwine soda and Vanilla Ice Cream. So basically a Cheerwine float. It was verry good. Making it more of a shake might have been better. However it was unique and very good.

The service was good. I got served quickly and everyone was friendly.

Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes, everything was good and a fun atmosphere. The outside has a large play area...

Only one vegan option; very freezer burnt. I was served a single scoop when had ordered and paid for a double scoop. Probably not coming back nor would recommend.

And THIS (first unedited) reply right here is why I won’t be returning. SO RUDE. When I entered the ice cream line my husband and I were disappointed to only see ONE vegan option, and when asking the employee about vegan options he just gestures back to the sign which only displays ONE. I was also ordering the ice cream with marshmallow topping with the expectation in PAYING for EXACTLY what I ordered. I was NOT expecting FREEBIES. When getting up to the register the cashier asks “did you get a single scoop?” And I replied “no, I ordered a double.”

When the ice cream started to run down my arm I then asked for a cup NOT DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE ICE CREAM. I again would have been more than happy to pay for the cup, because I was still being rung up. And not wanting or expecting freebies. So thank you for editing your comment saying I was high maintenance, and I will not be a returning...

I’ve stopped in here every summer since it opened years ago and every time it’s amazing. If you’re in SW Michigan and have never given Station 66 a visit, you simply must! They make their waffle cones in house and it smells so good and my favorite part is the marshmallow all soaked in ice cream at the bottom to prevent leaks. They also have lunch and dinner food and snacks, jams, jellys, kettle corn, donuts, fry pies, produce, sodas, merch, candy, and more! It’s always clean and nice. You can of course can a scoop of ice cream in a cup for a gluten free option and they have all ice creams labeled with their allergens so- Celiac safe! I have gotten their ice cream many times since becoming celiac and have never had an issue (obviously just skip the cone). If you have a major concern with cross contamination, they can change our their scoop for you and even get limited flavors from the back. I generally ask them to get a new scooper and I’ve never had an issue. Please stop in and support this amazing...

Gave two stars because the food was good. Once we got there it was busy due to a car show. We tipped well due to how busy they were and supporting small businesses is a must but were treated like we were a problem to the staff for coming in. We ran into friends there and they ordered well after us with their family and got their food before us. We politely asked if we could check on our food (it was 45 minutes later) and was promptly told that food was coming out and to wait our turn. We didn't order much but was told it depends what we ordered (we got three burgers). We saw multiple people order after us and get burgers before us. Once we got our food (almost an hour later) the girl basically threw the food at us and grabbed the number out of our hand and walked away. We are pretty relaxed and glad that small businesses are busy but wish to be treated better.

Our first visit to Station 66 was wonderful! The owner was warm and friendly as she gave us a brief overview of the history of the space and made us feel welcome…She gave us food recommendations, and went above and beyond to make sure my wife, who is gluten free, had a delicious meal that fit her dietary requirements. I had a Chicago Dog that was outstanding and perfectly and accurately created, and my Wife had a bacon cheeseburger on gluten free bread, and it was some of the best gf bread ever! The ice cream was great, and the dozen house made donuts we took for the road were absolutely phenomenal! Don’t miss a chance to visit this gem, even if you don’t have food in, you will surely find something in their large selection of all Michigan made items to take home.
