We ordered the fried chicken special on Sunday. We figured it would be the quickest since we were on a motorcycle ride. It took an hour and a half to get our order to go. They were out of mashed potatoes, vegetables and dinner roles. Hardly anyone in the place. waitress/barmaid and 1 young person cooking. We won't be going back there. Usually always excellent food here. Their fried chicken Sunday special is always good, and one time it was the best I've ever had. I don't recommend their Friday catfish special though. The one time we tried it it was really overcooked. This last Saturday I had their barbecued pork steak special with two sides, and it was excellent. Great local restaurant/bar! Nice big facility. Good bugers and more! Great bar selection. Plenty of free parking. Service is usually fine but this time it was a super busy night for them with a band and a class reunion on top of the regular crowd, so all of the staff were very busy, not their fault on service wait times.
