Taqueria&Restaurant El Nopal — Restaurant in Lewisburg

Price was little more expensive for what I order compared to other Mexican restaurants especially when it came to the quality of the food. We had also ordered 3 large drinks with our order (We had a to go order btw). When I got there they had 6 small drinks tied up in 2 bags. (3 in each bag). I guess they ran out of larges. So when driving the drinks was spilling all in the bag. Now for the Quality of the food. The tea tasted like it was made way earlier as it was sour and just not drinkable so it was wasted. As for the food it was Eh. I ordered the Nopal special with chicken and shrimp. And the shrimp tasted like it was either way earlier that day or if it was even made that day because it was nasty and had a foul taste to it as if it was old. It ended up ruining the food as it was all mixed together and the taste of it was all in there. As for my fiance and daughters food they said it was eh. Edible but they wouldn't get it again. This is a clean quiet place that is geared to customer comfort and enjoyment. The food is excellant and the staff is willing to add and/or subtract items from standard fare to please their customers. Food has been PERFECT.!! Better then in Elkton KY(messes it up EVERY TIME) & Rville KY. We've only had 1 attitude prob from guy over the phone. He wasn't that way when my husband walked in to get food..👀 of course.. 🤣 Other then that 1 guy who stands out from the rest.. they are all very welcoming. If out/inside were more welcoming they'd get more business...
