Harry's Place — Restaurant in Lewistown

We made reservations for a Friday at 5 pm, I had heard about Harry's having a good Prime Rib Dinner Special, so I had to try it out. We arrived right at 5, and we we're taken right to our table. Our waitress was prompt and polite. We ordered and then went straight to their salad bar, which was fully stocked with fresh product. I ordered a medium-sized, RARE prime rib. Its size was diminished by 50% after I trimmed away the grissel,and when I finally cut into the meat, I was a little bit disappointed because it was closer to being medium rare versus being rare as I ordered. With that said, the flavor was excellent, and their horseradish was HOT! Impressive Dive!! Stop in and high-five Katie! The 5 of us stopped in after the bustling Chockcherry Festival to a packed house....got seated immediately. Our spunky and enthusiastic server made the experience for sure, but set the stage nicley for some epic food. Not the 5-star staged finger pickings, but a platter filled with sloppy fall off the bone deliciousness. I was skeptical, it looked dry and aged.....but could only be picked up with the fingers!! The homecut potatoes, pork ribs, something else and the dessert.....we were stuffed, happy. Was there for middle school wrestling tournament. Tried to eat dinner and was basically told they were too busy to serve us. The waitress was rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. There was only 3 of us and a table was available with 2 chairs, easily with room for 3 but wasn't willing to move a chair so we could be seated. It was also a very awkward and uncomfortable walking in. Instead of walking into a restaurant it felt like you are walking into someones cramped living room uninvited with people just staring at you while you stand there crowding the door way.
