Medo's Resort — Restaurant in Lexington

Looks are very deceiving!!! This low key hole in the wall is highly popular with the locals. It also sits right in front of a beach area on the lake and makes for a great retreat from the heat. Highly recommend the bloody Mary and If you get there early you can get a spot on the upper deck outside with a spectacular view of the lake. Medos Resort just a whole in the wall, marina on Johnson Lake just 7 miles south of I80 Lexington exchange. I've traveled the world and I love beef. If you like prime rib and you're in the vicinity Medos has CONSISTANTLY served the best prime rib in the world. I'm not exaggerating. The world! It's an odd place, but it's right on the lake with nice views. We sat upstairs where the view is best. There's an upper patio/deck too. The food for us was just ok, and we both thought it was quite over priced, we expect that at lake places though. The service was great.
