The Hangar — Restaurant in Lexington

Myself and co-workers frequent The Hanger in Lexington quite often and have had great experiences.

I thought I'd give them a try for a recent executive lunch I was responsible for planning (8 people). I mean because how awesome is it they have online ordering AND you're able to select a pick-up time! However, things did not go as I planned. I arrived 20 minutes before the pickup time and checked in (I knew the order wouldn't be ready but was just being uber prepared). I didn't leave the store until 30 minutes after my selected pick up time. The sandwiches and pizza were soggy and my reputation for punctuality with my leadership has been deflated. I think that a lot of people pass this place by. I love the Hangar! Although it’s located at the back of an office building its actually a hidden gem of a place, in a cool steel container with garage doors that open to outdoor seating. Pre Covid-19 it was bustling all the time, everyone that worked there was always helpful and happy to see you and the Hangar had great breakfast and lunch items on the menu. I’m really not exaggerating when I say this: the Hangar is easily the best quality to price ratio of any palce I’ve eaten that I can remember. The employees are extremely friendly and always remember your name. Additionally, the food is super consistent. It’s good every single day. The specials are always delicious and unique.
