Well we own a diner restaurant but we love love love us some Margarita's and we come as often as we can. We were just there a few days ago so we wanted to mention that Margarita's is now offering a special lunch menu from 11a to 2:30p M-F. They have a variety of dee-lish dishes on their lunch special menu beginning at just $9 so pls check it out next time you're hungry around noon-ish.

First off, the staff (Dominga, Matteo, Cassie, Brandon, Gabby, et al) and owner Amin are just wonderful people who are really great at their main job: delivering hot, fresh and delicious Tex-Mex to hungry folks like us. They are all very friendly, helpful and fun to chat with.

Suggestions: Cheese enchiladas (Many Tex-Mex spots can't be bothered to make chili gravy for their enchiladas; Margarita's chili gravy is thick, dark and filled with ground beef...SO SO GOOD)

Taco meat (their ground beef taco meat is AWESOME! Great on tacos or nachos)

Queso Dee-light (the best queso in these parts, by far; get it loaded with ground beef and pico for a really good time)

Fajitas are dee-lish, both chicken and steak

Terry's (Stuffed) Avocado is a fav amongst my fam and friends. And yes, we love it with the taco meat!

Margaritas at Margarita's are, as you would expect, delectable and delightful. As are all of the drinks that flow out of their bar.

Truthfully, we've never had a bad meal there and we've never left there hungry or unhappy. Matter of fact, we've always left there very happy and very very full.

Give them a try.

HIGHLY...

First time visiting this Friday. Must say it was a fantastic time, food, drinks and atmosphere, plus live music!

We had driven by several times and were always drawn to the fenced playground with the pirate ship. We have a 5 y/o and a 3 1/2 y/o.

Being newbies, we entered on the main restaurant side but asked about the patio seating, they were so nice and directed us that direction and let us know it was open seating. The kids ran to the playground where there were lots of kids and plenty to entertain.

This place was so busy, the band was setting up, and we waited patiently for a table to open up. Some nice folks who were waiting for their check asked us to join them as they were leaving soon.

We were served drinks right away, then later ordered mixed fajitas, queso, and some kids menu items.

Queso, chips and salsa were delicious.. fajitas were tasty and reminded me of traditional Mexican fajitas, very tasty! Tortillas were fresh and the cook on the veggies was perfect. Kids meals came out fast and were tasty and enjoyed by the kids.

The band (Funky Monkey) was great! Typical everything jam band. Loved them!

I do not have anything negative to say and will definitely be back. My only suggestion is some lighting for the playground. I promise we would have stayed longer if the playground had lighting. And for the owner, the longer we stay, the more we spend!

Our kids loved it and wanted to come back the next...

DINER BEWARE!! I have been coming here so many times with my husband and the service has been nothing but stellar. All that changed when I decided to bring my family to come eat for a birthday. Everything was fine until I got the check. First off, no where on the menu does it say that the tip is going to be automatically added on the check. And it’s a mandatory tip. I should have been told this beforehand. The server gave me the reason that the owner will soon be adding “parties 4 or more will have automatic gratuity added” onto the menus. I left a cash tip on the table and told the server that I would prefer to leave a cash tip and not include it in my card payment, but she told me that it wasn’t possible and that I had to pay the 20% tip added to my check. I had no say on what % tip I could leave, it was a solid 20%. Never have I been to a restaurant where I was told that tip was mandatory and that I could not leave a cash tip. A tip should be at the discretion of the customer, NOT at the discretion of the employee. All this made me feel very uncomfortable and even my family thought that was outrageous. I have no idea if the owner does plan on going through with this change, but it feels like highway robbery. It’s sad because I do genuinely love the food and the area, but for this reason alone I will not be going back nor will I bring my...

Margarita's in Liberty Hill offers a straightforward dining experience with a decent atmosphere that aligns with its pricing. While nothing stands out remarkably, the restaurant compensates with a plus for families – an outdoor kids play area, perfect for the summer months. The portions are notably generous, providing good value for the price. However, the food itself is described as just okay, lacking any exceptional qualities. The suspicion that tortillas are store-bought and a desire for better rice indicate room for improvement in the authenticity of the Mexican cuisine, falling somewhere between traditional and Americanized. On the positive side, the drinks are both affordable and served in ample quantities, contributing to the overall budget-friendly appeal of Margarita's. In conclusion, it's a suitable option for those seeking a cost-effective dining experience, although the food may not leave a lasting impression.

We decided to try Margarita's for the first time the other night. There were lots of kids running around the inside of the restaurant, and people walking back and forth from the bar area to the tables. We noticed that there's a set price for chips and salsa on the menu, but then they brought us out a basket not long after sitting down, so we weren't sure if they were going to charge it or not (guess not but that could get confusing). I ordered the quesadilla with shredded chicken and unfortunately it was super soggy on the bottom. It was also lacking a lot of flavor, and I couldn't finish it. My husband enjoyed his burger and it was huge! I would maybe come back to try something else, but there are definitely better Mexican restaurants not far from here. It's fun that they have a playscape for the kids out front, but other then that, we weren't super impressed.

I attended a family event here at Margarita's today. It was an inspired choice! We had banquet room to ourselves as well as wait staff of our own. The food was beautifully presented, well prepared and quick to the table after we ordered. [I had #18. the Spinach Enchiladas - Wonderful!]The room was private and spacious. We were greeted with a smile and hot tortilla chips with a better than average salsa. The rest of our visit went accordingly. The restaurant was clean and friendly, The prices were very reasonable. The drinks being a little weak would be my only complaint [but that could have been me!] - The picture is of one of the 'Birthday gals' (with her permission). Margarita's offers a complimentary slice of cake and a serenade of 'Happy Birthday' with marachas! I would recommend....
