The Front 9 - Kansas, OH — Restaurant in Liberty Township

I went here for the first time and really liked it. There is a golf course there ,which will open up in April if the weather cooperates. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean, and my favorite a "lottery " machine😁. We went in the evening, I had the pulled pork sandwich (very tasty) my friend got a cheeseburger (she liked it) plus the sandwich buns are really good!! We got the sweet potato fries which came with a cinnamon butter cream ..these were the best sweet potato fries I've ever had!! Their regular fries were even better!! Loved them!! We asked, they are not homemade. They have homemade desserts, we got a oatmeal pie, very good! There is a bar, and they also serve breakfast which I heard is good. I will definitely...

I have not eaten here, so I want to be clear that I am NOT commenting on the restaurant, just the golf course. This is one half (9 holes) of the former Nature Trails course, revived. The bad: Nature Trails was not a good course to begin with - poor fairways, spotty turf, some greens that were more sand than grass. Most of that has not changed, unfortunately. The good: The setting is beautiful with lush woods surrounding many holes. The young woman who checked me in was helpful and pleasant. Hopefully, the new owners can put $ and effort into making improvements in the golf experience. Until then, it's only Nature Trails with a new name and...

Edit: Went back after the initial review and the owners have done a ton of work on the greens. They are much better than they were when it first opened. I talked to the owner and he said he has many more plans to improve the course, it just takes time. I will definitely go back.

Pretty pricey for the shape of the greens. Greens aren't rolled, aren't cut, and have a ton of crab grass. I could do a better job putting on my living room carpet. I realize the course was neglected for a couple of years, but I was hoping it would be in better shape by now. May try again in a couple of years.
