The New Two Mile Inn — Restaurant in Liberty Township

Just finished our dinner here... less than thrilled. We were here about a year ago and the service was slow, but the food was exceptional. Tonight it took a major turn for the worse. We had a party of 9 so I expected some delays for food just because of the quanity. We arrived at 1730 and there was one other table occupied. It took over 2 1/2 hrs to get our food and of the 9 dishes and 2 appetizers only 2 were warm and decient. Most were cold and unappealing, and the shrimp alfredo and buffalo chicken dip were downright disgusting. Manager said sorry and "i know thats not going to help now but what can ya...

Had our first meal at the NTMI. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. It was pretty darn good. Cooked to the right temp and juicy. What almost ruined a good meal was the service. I’ve never been waited on by a more disinterested waitress in my entire life. We weren’t a difficult table by any stretch but she was just plain miserable. My advice would be to keep doing what you’re doing in the kitchen, but re-evaluate, retrain your staff, or you will turn too many people away based on service.

Update 7/21/2024: Moving from 2 to 4 stars. Have been back a few times and the service has been great. Meals have not...

They say if you can't say something nice about something or someone, then don't say anything at all. So all I will say is, this place is most definitely not your finer eating establishments. I ordered a fried seafood platter and I could have saved myself $16.99 and let the Gorton's fisherman provide the same quality!!! I've never had bay scallops in a fried seafood dinner at ANY restaurant. Didn't eat a bit of it and owner made me to pay for half of it. Real classy...
