Jack's Place — Restaurant in Liberty

Very disappointed in the service. We have been waiting over an hour for food. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger. My boyfriend ordered Mountain oysters and onion rings.The restaurant was full but I have been to other restaurants in the past that were just as busy and didn't wait this long. I'm a diabetic and there is no excuse for this to happen. Obviously the cook forgot to put our order on the grill. If you aren't able to get food out in a timely manner find a different job. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and chicken livers. The cheeseburger was good. I was excited about the chicken livers because I love them and you don't see them on menus much anymore. So I get my food and there was 3 livers and a bunch of crumbs. I said something to the waitress and they said they go by weight. I look at the orders of the people that are with me and their sides are very abundant. So I proceed to eat my livers and they are flash fried... burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Lots of locals that greeted all of us from California. Great group! All four of us had their Friday night special of Kansas Strip Steak. They came with green salad with choice of dressing on the side, and choice of potato. I had fries that were so hot! Steak was done perfectly. The owner even came out to see if everything was OK.
