This is the former Blockhouse Cafe location reimagined under new owners & with a bakery. Love the updates to the decor. They have only been open a few weeks & have some things to sort out. The air conditioning was not cooperating on a hot day, the fryer wasn't working, so no french fries, & they were out of potato salad, my second choice of side. No one seemed sure of what some of the baked goods were. (Hence only 4 stars in food category) However, the burger I had was dressed well & cooked to perfection. My 3rd choice macaroni salad side was good, & dill pickle nice & garlicky. Blueberry pie was delicious. Prices are very reasonable & portions just right. Most impressive was the woman & two young men working. They were very calm & professional even though things weren't going quite right. I would have been a wreck, so kudos to them.    Read moreWe were looking for something different for lunch last Saturday. The Willow Street Cafe and Bakery popped up as an option; we were so glad we stopped. Freshly cooked food, good coffee, REAL maple syrup (breakfast served all day). Not fancy décor, but not fancy prices either! The server and the owner (who cooks) were both very friendly. Enjoyed chatting with them. About 2 minutes off Route 15 (warning - DOWN a big hill), quick right onto Blockhouse Road, quick left onto Williamson Trail, cross a bridge and look to the left. Turn down Willow Street to park. There is a side door. We will stop here again when traveling to/from points south.    Read moreI live in Lexington NC I had a friend visit some family in PA over the weekend, and they brought back donuts from WILLOW STREET CAFE IN LIBERTY PA. I wanted to give a review they are so yummy and still so fresh by the time they got to me here in Lexington NC. I live in NC where there is a Krispy Kreme and they are good but Willow Street Café is definitely so much better. I wish we had them here in NC. Next time my friend goes to PA I will definitely half to get me a box or two...
