I make it a point to do reviews, people need to know in advance what to spend their hard earned money on. I’m a transplant this is my second southern state and after 6 years here, this has been the better Chinese take out in this immediate area and despite some of the negative reviews posted, I found the good, the bad and the ugly. With that being said let’s start with the good, the food was good, surprisingly good and delicious. We had the roast pork lo mein, general Tao chicken, egg rolls, crab Rangoon (the cream cheese filling was REALLY good but noticed no crabmeat 🦀 not even the imitation crab-that’s bait & switch) and but it was STILL delicious. We’re going to try the lobster egg fu yung next time and if that’s good I’ll up my rating to 5 stars.
The Bad: Take Out food businesses are hard, Totally understand, the overhead, the labor, the inventory, I’m sure seeing a profit is hard but the dirty looks that we got from the order taker made us questioned whether we should patronize at the business. The presentation and attitude was like were bothering her by our presence and at that second I thank God, there were cooks in the back, cooking versus her because Honey’s vibe was pure misery and we really thought the food was going to taste like the scowl on her face. Life is hard for all of us, but DANG!!! You don’t have to tap dance for me, but you sure can get a lot more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
And now the Ugly: the buffet looked like it was sitting out for two days, it was dried out looking and sad, I get it, the foot traffic may not be there and it probably cost more than you will sell to do food reloads, I get it but it was not attractive, at all. Won’t ever be doing that.

Read moreThe food is disgusting. I have given them a chance multiple times and the result is always the same. This most recent time I ordered a QT of shrimp chow mien. I paid 13 dollars for a bunch of soggy greens and a handful of OLD AND UNCLEAN SHRIMP. The shrimp was actually soggy and disintegrated just by touching it which tells me the shrimp was old and soaking in that gross sauce or it was left in something with baking soda for too long. You can see that the majority of the shrimp still had poop in it. Complete rip off and unsanitary. Once again, I’ve tried with them multiple times just to make sure it wasn’t a random bad day. Unfortunately that isn’t the case and this is the usual experience. Definitely...
Read moreI'm not sure why others have rated this place so high because I couldn't find one good thing about it. You have to pay before you seat yourself because once you taste the food there is no way they are getting any money. You have to fix your own drinks from a machine that is messing up and go back to the other room if you want refills. The health rating is only a 90 which should tell you a lot. The food isn't hot and nothing tasted good and the selection is lacking compared to every other chinese food buffet in the area. There was no service, just a girl who came and took plates once. Also the spoons are huge and not...
