Revel Run is truly one of the most breathtaking and meaningful places you could choose to get married. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew it wasn’t just a venue, it was truly a place that reflected us and our backgrounds so perfectly.

The owners, Jim and Darlyn, are the heart of it. They are the kind of people who would literally give you the shirt off their back to make sure your day goes exactly the way you imagined it. They are genuine, thoughtful, and they care deeply about every couple who walks through their doors. Their hospitality made the entire planning process feel supported, calm, and personal, like our wedding mattered to them just as much as it mattered to us.

The grounds are stunning. On the morning of our wedding, swans were floating across the pond, it felt like a quiet blessing before the day began. And because Revel Run is a true equestrian property, we actually had horses arriving for an event happening the next day. So during our ceremony, there were horses in the background, which couldn’t have been more perfect for our horse-inspired, rustic-country theme. It felt intentional, cinematic, and deeply aligned with who we are.

Every guest commented on how unique the venue was and how they had never been to a wedding setting like this before. The fall colors, the rolling pastures, the barn, the pond, the open sky, everything felt spacious, warm, and naturally beautiful. It didn’t need heavy décor; the venue is the décor.

Our food was incredible, the scenery photographed beautifully, and the entire day flowed with ease. It was one of those rare days where everything just felt right.

If there is one note for future couples, it’s that the upstairs area would benefit from elevator access or more accessible options for guests with mobility needs. That said, the team is incredibly accommodating and supportive in helping coordinate around this with golf carts.

Overall, Revel Run is a venue full of heart, soul, and story. It is peaceful and powerful all at once. It gave us a wedding day that felt authentic to who we are and one that our guests are still talking about.

Absolutely love this place! Super family friendly and gives you the freedom as a mom and dad of “you time” while your kid can explore and play! Definitely high on my list of all the places in the west Ann Arbor dexter Chelsea area to spend my time! Good drinks, delicious food trucks, and entertainment for my kid. We went to Disney bingo tonight and what a blast, my 5 year old loved it and it was easy to care for my newborn in their open space, plenty of room to push a stroller and feed him without feeling like people are watching or on top of me. Had my wedding here on 10/19 the most stunning fall day and this is the most beautiful venue! Since stepping foot on the property when we booked in January, I have been obsessed.
