Sad to have to change my review - I previously absolutely loved this place! I had not once been disappointed, we were going often. A couple highlights - the New Orleans Stir Fry (OMG it's so good I struggle to order anything else when I come in, but there's still so many things I wanted to try), there was a Southwest Steak Tip special (absolutely amazing, I love their steak tips and they're always cooked perfectly - kudos to the chefs), the fried haddock is sometimes the best around too. The fried scallops idk, they didn't seem to have much breading and were very greasy (see pic). I prefer the bar area, it seems cozier to me, and we've never had a terribly hard time finding parking. The only thing I would add is a litl more local beer, there are so many great breweries in Maine. BUT all that being said, the service has been so awful the last few times we don't want to come back anymore. It doesn't really seem like anyone's in charge. The bartender doesn't seem to pay attention to the tables in the bar at all, I realize it's the server's job, but if the server isn't doing a good job, or isn't able to keep up, I'd think she would be on top of stuff, there's not that many tables down there. We got ignored last night for quite a while before deciding to move upstairs in the hopes of better service, but instead they just told the server that already disappointed us that she could have our table upstairs, then we proceeded to wait even longer! We extended our wait by trying to get away from her. She was barely apologetic when she finally came over and we got our drinks and placed our order at the 24 minute mark. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Went here after some locals referred us. I was disappointed in the food. For the prices I had hoped the food would be of adequate taste. I got the fish tacos and they was sub par. Very little fish and not much flavor. Out of a scale 1-10 I’d say the fish tacos was a 5. My wife got the bourbon street chicken sandwich. She enjoyed the flavors of the sandwich but the chicken itself looked like it was cooked in old oil and reheated. All the food came out in pretty fast manor which is good but not good if the quality of the food is effected. Overall I would not recommend this place. The price is too high for the quality of the food.

This was a very nice dining experience for us. Though short-staffed, the waitstaff did a great job in the full dining room, and Molly took good care of us. We shared the aranncinni starter, and they were excellent. Our entrees were the chicken piccata (slightly too oily for my wife) and a tasty short rib fettuccine bolgonese for me. An excellent martini for her and my coors was chilled just right. We went with the brookie pie for dessert, and it was decadent and deadly. This is a must destination in the historic town of Limerick, meals are budget friendly, and we will be back.

I’m not typically one to complain, let alone leave a bad review, but this a was disappointing. I work in the service industry so I understand having a wait at the door. We had a 20 minute wait to be seated, that’s fine, typical for a Sunday morning. Once we were seated it took our waitress 15 minutes to even greet us. When she did she said, “I just have to place this order and I’ll be right over!” Again, that’s fine I understand. But she didn’t bother to ask us if we were ready for drinks. It’s hot, my daughter could have used a water, but again I understand. She continues to buss the table next to us, give them their check and then proceed over to another table(that has drinks) to take their food order. She walked right past us again, still not even a coffee or a water to our table. Our overall wait was about 50 minutes, 20 at the door and 30 at the table, and we never even got a drink. We were very hungry and getting frustrated. Feeling blatantly ignored, we left. This was our first time here and we will not...

Went there for the first time with a few friends and their baby. The food was good and the waitress was nice. After we were done eating our friend brought her baby to the car while we paid. Thank god she did because right after she left, the window came crashing down on top of my girlfriend, right were the baby was previously sitting. When the manager came over she didn’t ask if anyone was okay, didn’t apologize but decided to yell at us for ‘touching the window’. Our friend got up to help the manager ensure that the window was actually secure and she got in his face and proceeded to say “this is why you don’t touch the windows” The only reason my girlfriend touched the window was because the rain was pouring in on us. By the bags and wrinkles under her eyes I could tell she was craving a cigarette/beer. But that’s no excuse for how she treated us. Never had such poor customer service in our life. Save yourself the hassle and just go to Krista’s. Food and service is 10 times better for...
